I'm pretty sure Roger has enough clout in the game that he can get another fighter and train him to elite status. Hell I think that Roger could also resurrect the careers of some fighters out there right now. If its all about the money w/ Floyd -- I say Roger let him get his money and go your seperate ways.

You can't tell me that Roger couldn't help Jermain Taylor, Nate Campbell, Juan Diaz, Joel Julio, or an Andre Berto with their careers.

Yeah Roger already has clout before and after Floyd ... he has had a world championship w/o floyd and he was a trainer before Floyd.

Hey if Forbes beats DLH then hey ... he can just fight Cotto and make just as much money with way more prestige and glory in a victory.

I think he's forgetting that the world would rather watch him fight Cotto anyway ...

I'm a huge Floyd fan, but enough is enough ... **** the money man ... you're at the level where you're going to make your money reguardless.

If Forbes wins then add him to your promotional company and milk promoting him for as much as you can.

I agree with Floyd on this one.

The fight with DLH is money in the bank.

I wouldn't want my Uncle no where near that. Just the thought of knowing that you could be the one responsible for the upset - would be too hard to deal with. I can think of a million reason why Roger shouldn't be doing this - about 20 million reasons.

i see where floyd is coming from because i wouldn't want to lose $20 mil in a cake fight against DLH. But on the other hand Forbes hired Roger so he does have a job to do. Its a toss up, but the general concensus is that PBF should have handled this situation better. I guess it breaks down to those who appreciate making easy money vs those who want to work unneccessarily hard for it...

I thought it wasn't about the money Floyd?

I thought it was about legacy? <bull****>

There is nothing wrong with fighting for the cash, my problem is denying it's about the cash, and then firing your uncle because he might "cost you millions."

If he's fighting for legacy, he should be training to whoop Cotto's ass, not looking to fight a past his prime icon like Oscar.

Cotto, at the moment, is what I love about fighters. He doesn't act like he's too good to fight anybody, he doesn't talk mad **** or insult people, and he isn't a hypocrite.

Floyd represents everything that is wrong with modern day athletes, it's a shame because he is an amazing fighter.

Forbes has no punching power, and DLH has only been stopped by B-Hop. Even if Forbes were to "win", it's very likely that it'll go to the cards, and not very likely that Forbes would get the nod unless he was absolutely dominant. Floyd doesn't have much to worry about.

In a way its giving Rodger a load of respect ans credit. Floyd actaully thinks that Rodger being in Forbes' corner would give him a shot at beatting Oscar, what does that say about What Floyd thinks of Rodger??

Man he can easily make 20+ fighting Cotto ... Cotto has a strong following and is an undefeated champion, not to mention a top 10 p4p fighter.

That will easily have over 1million PPV buys and the gate will be ridiculous ... with the year he had last year, he can request 20 for the purse ... i'm pretty sure Cotto will be happy with 10-12mil --

If Floyd wants to make Oscar money, he doesn't have to keep fighting Oscar to get that ... true hardcore fans know that Oscar is done and that its only an easy fight for Floyd with a ton of money behind it.

At this point Roger has the advantage ... hell if he wants he can join team DLH.

I'm mad at this ... Roger was the only one on team Mayweather with personality and that wasn't huggin Floyds dick every chance they got.

He was more proud that Floyd was his nephew that Floyd being P4P best.

Dumb move ... and alot of ***** behind the motives.
