Hey tell us how Floyd doesnt have a jab, cant throw combinations, doesnt go to the body and aint versatile again.

 

I have Floyd losing to several past fighters, such as Duran and Hearns, but both of those would fight a very different fight from a styles standpoint when compared to a fighter like SRL.

 

Let's call a spade a spade, dudes being a ***** because people know PBF ****s Manny up, and he can't take it. Hence this ***-like bunch of bull**** here, that speaks volumes about the TS's mindset. nothing to do with Hearns, SRL, SRR, or anyone else.

Christ...a 12 rounder would not favor Mayweather when he's up against Robinson. Not a snowball's chance in hell.

 

I just find it hilarious that some posters believes that Floyd loses to fighters like Freitas, Tszyu, Casamayor, MAB and EM. :-(

Dude, you really have to have a strong understanding who are real boxing fans and credble posters. There are several solid posters who are complete fanboys of Pacquiao, Mayweather, Pavlik, Klitchkos..etc. But they never say anything ridiculous. Example, I am a die-hard Floyd fan...and as I much as i believe that he'll beat EM, MAB, Tszyu and Casamayor. There is no-way he'll beat prime (and at their best weights) Hearns, SRL and Duran. Now, do I believe that Floyd will lose in a Blaze of Hooks leading to being bloodied and face-down on the canvas...No-one beats Floyd like that, he's too good. Can he be forced to fight at a different tempo, sure. And will eventually lose a decision to the aforementioned greats. But Tszyu and EM...

If we're talking about how Mayweather's performances would differ against Robinson and Leonard, a thing to remember is that Robinson had better outboxing skills than Leonard, a better jab, and could fight off of his backfoot better...to go along with more offensive firepower. I think he'd last longer against Leonard, but obviously, he'd be hard pressed to win rounds against either and ultimately, he'd find himself in over his head against two more physically gifted, stronger, and immensely skilled welterweight beasts.

Not to knock Mayweather (who is an atg fighter and perhaps the best ever at 130), but when I watch him fight now, I don't see a great welterweight. I see a very solid technician.

 

i alwasy see Floyd get hsi ass handed to him by most if not all fantasy match-ups especially to past fighters.

The only ones i see him win consitantly against are when he matched against todays fighters...and honestly todays era...154 down....who would be a favorite..maybe Sergio if he came down?

im almost willing to gurantee that if you did a poll with past fighters...floyd would lose most of those fights....i've seen it happen on here many occasions but its just a thought if you wanted fresh numbers.
