I tried telling y'all that. Hatton was pissed off, he was irritated, he was annoyed, he wasnt used to a trash talker like Floyd and it showed in the ring.

The minute something didnt go his way he completely lost his composure. Floyd won this fight weeks ago.

    Ridiculous post.

You can be a poor looser - but how about crediting Mayweathers skill for the victory - I think anyone analysing Hatton's state of mind ahead of the fight could see that he was 1000% confident in his mind and his belief and he fought all ten rounds that way.

Uhh read my name. PBF what do you think that stands for lol?

Floyd would have won either way by a wide decision. But it was Hattons mental weakness at being angry at Floyd and wanting to exact some sort of retribution was the reason he got knocked out. Hatton was too confident, too big up'd by the British faithful. He didnt respect Floyds punching ability. Huge mistage.

So did PBF referee the fight as well - Cause it looked to me like he was annoyed at Cortez' taking a point...

I mean - You can be a poor looser, but you can't say he won the fight mentally ahead of the fight - That's being a bad winner.

If Hatton was defeated mentally weeks ago - He would have been stopped in 5 rounds or less.

    Mental edge my ass......

There are two reasons why Mayweather beat Ricky Hatton, and they are skills and stamina.

There is absolutely no way that Hatton was psyched out by Mayweather.
Hatton fought his fight, and still got beat, the credit goes to the better skilled and better conditioned athlete!

    .....any excuses are bogus.

Even Ricky Hatton called his mental disavantage before the fight on 24/7 when he said a fighter is nervous when he starts doing things he doesnt normally do. Hatton never used to trash talk so I guess he was the one doin all the unusual things cause we know floyd can trash talk all those sore losers like Hopkins and the whole GBP who wanted to see him lose. (look at Oscars reaction when Hatton got knocked down the first time) They are all haters

I agree!!!! Aside from the stamina and skill. PBF is the more intelligent boxer of the two! We are on the same boat this time Divac!

I don't think Hatton did anything he usually doesn't do. He just stepped what he usually does up a notch.

If you read some of the round by rounds, people were saying Hatton was taking Floyd out of his game and seemingly eating him alive, holding his own. Even that it seemed as if it was Floyd being taken out of his game, resorting to some less careful mauling and brawling himself. Visually showing anger or frustration isn't something that seems to be part of Floyds game.. Cheers.
