Floyd has a flawed style..that never could have been exploited by his opposition

    Vernon's issues with his shoulder were well known.

    Most fighter's are told to double and triple and pump the jab, most fighters do not do this, because they can't. That's not Floyd's fault. The jab could've been one tool against him but someone who just has a good jab isn't going to automatically beat him. It would take a dynamic fighter to.

    I'd like to repeat, that it's ridiculous to hold it against Floyd that nobody in his era was able to solve his style.

    Nonetheless, Floyd had expressed a desire to fight him. The deal was more or less made but fell through at the last minute, apparently over TR's shift on the money.

    Not a criticism of Floyd ... his reflexes remain superb and more importantly he's very good at reading opponents, but Berto delivers his punches by way of Pony Express.

    Floyd could probably have written that book while he was waiting for Andres punches to arrive ... well ... maybe not Floyd, but someone who could write moderately fast.
