Castillo wasn't prime? Corrales wasn't prime? Hernandez at 32 and only one loss wasn't prime? Chavez wasn't prime? Hatton, undefeated wasn't prime? Alvarez, undefeated, not prime?

And most of the fighters Floyd faced were resurgent, New trainers, New methods, coming off sustained runs, winning titles....Cotto, Mosley, Oscar, Marquez, Guerrero, Ortiz, Pacquiao.

Your argument is shot, Floyd has fought and beat great fighters, big names, cleared out two generations! Considered the best fighter in the sport for 15 years his only p4p challenge coming from Hopkins and Pacquiao who he beat easy! The story is over, Floyd won, find a new guy to hate on!

Oscar was Mayweather's 38th fight and Mayweather was Oscar's 43rd fight. You trying to say that Oscar fought the best but Hopkins was 39 years old when he fought Oscar and Chavez was 35 and Oscar was his 100th fight. He fought Mosely and Sweet Pea. Who else Genaro. You see, You claim that Oscar has had all these ring wars but I don't see it. Mayweather's resume is more impressive and the fact is that Mayweather is the better fighter.

We all know Hopkins is like wine dude. That makes anything else you said irrelevant.

Come on man, you can't justify that ass whoopin with a cavalier statement like that. The fact is that the man was 39 years old when he fought Oscar.

You keep saying that they were past their primes but you have no evidence to support that claim. You are playing the odds by presenting a small window but in reality the window is much larger. Prime for a fighter falls in three categories. Early, Middle, and Late. Make no mistake, all prime though. It starts with the physical, then the mental and physical combined( this is the prime that everybody is focused on but it's not the only one and sometimes not the most significant ) Then you have the late prime which is mostly mental.

This is roughly a nine year cycle, which starts at around age 25 and ends around age 34. The truly elite fighters go a couple of years longer. Therefore, fighters who's age difference in no more than three or four years apart will engage each other in a part of their primes.

Two words. Emanuel Augustus. I don't care what you fools say, that is the marquee name on the resume.

That's all I need. Not going to entertain someone who denies something as clear as Hopkins getting better with age.

I can name 10 fighters that go through Floyds resume undefeated. Most boring 49-0 of all time. His two best wins are Canelo and Corrales. Both were prime or near prime fighters. Although Canelo getting drained down to 152lbs hurt him in that fight. But imho Floyd beats him anyway because hes far too fast on his feat for Canelo
