but if facing world level competition and titles in many divisions is so important, then you can't deny that Pacquiao has faced a higher level of competition than Floyd and has won titles in even more divisions.
lmfao..not it wasnt u fukin dummy.. State the correct info too he fought shane less than 2 1/2 years after ricky for starters..not 3... Tony was coming off a loss to pw.. Pw already had a fight lined up with carlos quintana (or kermit cintron who pulled out) which he lost... Cotto was wide open for the taking though..i do admit that fight was there if he wanted it yea ur post about 15 percent correct though
Yea he has...7 divison champ...throw an * on there though cuz one of those titles he took at 145..not the WW LIMIT..WE ALL KNOW IF MAYWEATHER TOOK THE OSCAR FIGHT AT 150..HE WOULDA GOT PUT IN THE FIRE.. as for level of competition.. overall yea pac holds an edge over floyd in compeition...They have both fought just as many top 10 I believe.... Pac has never dominated a division though..Floyd is arguably the GOAT at 130lbs..easy top 3 at 130.Pac has never dominated a division really AND PLEASE DONT THINK THATS ALL IM SAYING IS "IMPORTANT"..OF COURSE OTHER FACTORS PLAY IN WHEN RANKING FIGHTERS.
Its true that Pac moved up so many divisions (from jrFly to WW) that he never had the time to settle and dominate a division for a long period of time even though there are alot of divisions where he was very dominant (more than Floyd at 130) while he was there.
I understand that. I guess its the sacrifice you gotta make to get up in weight. Pac's gift (technically) is his ability to get inside and do what he needs to do..the angles he takes on fighters are awesome...Its like one second hes right in front of u and the next second hes standing next to you and your still facing where he was..he is able to get off hard clean power shots... I can watch the hatton-pac fight over and over again...how he set up that left hand and loaded up on it...something beautiful :thumbsup
