I think it is natural to assume that PBF in the last two years lost some of his speed. However, as I stated he still looks fast. He has not boxed competitively for what about 18 months. His corner is divided-Roger wants more offense and Floyd Sr wants PBF to wait til the later rounds. Right Cross I agree with what you have posted.

PBF is not 100% maybe he is like 95% of his old self but that is still better than most other fighters. However, to assume that he came back better than ever or where he was is delusional the fact is he is older. Anybody over 30 understands this. We reach our Physical Peak in our late 20's so I think its safe to assume that PBF has faded. Your body starts to break down and get hurt even if you take a break if you have weak joints as does Floyd they could get reinjured. PBF has small joints it's a fact he has little hands. If PBF is in so much better shape why wait for so long to return to the ring he could have signed to fight Pac immediately after the Hatton fight for more money than fighting Marquez.

The more video of PBF I see the more I start to believe the injury was not faked becuase of lagging ticket sales but rather PBF would not have been ready.

With diminished speed PBF's edge shrinks a little.

There are a lot of implications to slowing down. A lot have been mentioned in this thread already. Do you need everything spelled out for you?

That video that you showed to me makes the slow down look more dramatic than what I saw on 24/7 where he was trying to impress for the cameras. For comparison just look at the DLH 24/7 where floyd was hitting the speedbag and the heavybag and doing sit ups while eating potato chips.

I have a feeling that Floyd can adjust when he loses his speed. He has so much talent and ring smarts, I can't see him not being able to adapt.

Marquez as we know is capable of adapting midround so I kind of see it that a slower PBF = a W for Marquez

BS! You're judging PBF's speed, or lack there of, on a youtube video? This is a poor way of analyzing his speed. Why don't you wait until September 19th. Also, you cant be so naive to believe that PBF is going to go all out and showcase his stuff on a damn video do you?

Well this maybe true or it may not be true at all . . . we will see that on the actual fight.

JMM is going up in weight and he might have lost some speed too.
