Of course I picked Hatton, that's my fighter. Realistically though, I knew it was going to be a very tough fight...which it was. How about you think before you spout your mouth like a dumbass.
:rofl Some of these people make me laugh. That was the first 24/7 show, we have 3 to go. People acting like this was shot a week before the actual fight.
Chances are he's not quite as fast, but judging from one small 24-7 episode may be a little dumb. PBF has taken a good lay off, I'm sure he has some ring rust and sure he won't just jump back in and look as fast and slick as we're accustomed to seeing. It's still probably fast and slick enough to make JMM look dumb though.
Funny... People who think they can see if a guy is faster or slower by watching him train on a tv show always make me laugh...
****ing hilarious!:rofl The guy hasn't stepped foot in the ring yet and people are already claiming he's slow and shot.:-( Give the man a chance to get back into the ring before you makes these ridiculous comments.
Did you see how he was hitting that double-end bag???? Look, even in the previous 24/7 shows he went VERY SLOW on the mits and bagwork for what was being filmed by HBO. That footage of him on the double-end bag though, that is all I had to see to know he still has all his speed and reflexes.
Negligible amount of speed loss, at best. As mentioned before, he's still got enough to outclass Marquez.
You guys act like Floyd has been sitting at home on his couch eating pizza and drinking milkshakes everyday for the last 2 years. Just a much needed break from the rougher parts of boxing... but the man stayed in the gym, and stayed in great shape. The time off will only help him.
I'm not sure about that. He's at that 30 point where things start to change in the body and aging starts making an impact. He bowed out at his peak. It's been almost 2 years since that so it's going to be interesting I think. Personally, I think he'll still be great -- like 90% of his best.
Floyd is in great shape 24/7. On the main page he talked about getting back in rhythm quicker than usual and doing 9 minute rounds. He is ready. Timing may be a little off but that will pick up as the fight goes on b/c Marquez is not an elusive target.
