Floyd has no option but to take the fight at 50/50

It's amazing the amount of people that were praying for Floyd to come back from retirement just so they would have someone to blame for everything wrong with boxing.

If i'm Floyd eithe I get the 60% against Pac 70 % against moseley or I retire and stick my middle finger up to the fans who hate him! why bother proving anything to those people?

Both. 90% think Pac deserves more but for sake of 'getting it on' a fifty split should be agreed. Money certainly has no right to ask for lions share

Well, thats my opinion, why else retire when that was the fight fans wanted to see
6. Before the JMM fight people were saying this and also predicting that PBF v JMM would flop at the PPV. Over 1 mil buys says PBF is a draw.
because of the novelty of coming out of retirement, no one wants to see a repeat of last fight

his legacy is secure already, Floyd needs it more and has few options other than to fight a legit challenger

After what Pac has done vs Cotto, Floyd leaving wouldnt hurt much at all. You know Pac would fight winner of Mos/Berto, which would be another great fight. Floyd really hasnt done much for boxing. ODH made him big, but he was still the same Floyd that wasnt fighting the best out there. His mouth just got bigger. We got Pac and Paul Williams and a super 6 tourney right now. Floyd is not as relevant to boxing as hes wants to believe. Pac has gotten bigger then Floyd and done more for boxing without him, so no worries if the guy jumps ship again when the playing field starts looking too tough.

Then I started thinking. I think Floyd owes Pac some money. We all know the only thing that added any legitimacy to Floyd facing the lightweight champ was JMM fights with Pacman. Even though most disregarded that they were 3 weight classes below said fight. If Pac hadn't moved up so effectively crushing Diaz, Hatton, and Oscar would that fight have sold or even made it off the drawing board. I think not. So, back to Floyd. Send Pac a 10% finders fee for exploiting his venture in to the higher weights. They made people believe that since you were effective moving up a man who you had two close fights with at 130, could also move up and was a threat.

 

More than the "**** you" to Floyd is the greater honor of getting Pac's 5th linear title. The winner of Mosley-Berto is looking mighty attractive to me.

 

He will take 50/50 believe it, hes asking for more because he knows Pac/Roach/Arum will want stupid **** in the contract. So he will work himself to 50/50 by removing certain stipulations out the contract.

 

So true. Would be great to see look on Mayweather team when they asked for that finders fee before any negotiations for a fight.

 

55/45 only by KO or TKO. Decision will be 50/50. An incentive for an exciting fight.

 

People who didn't know JMM but knew Pac, were asking me if that guy beat up Pac, cause of the 24/7. They used Pac to sell that fight and it ain't hard to see. if Pac never moved up and won, the JMM-Floyd fight gets laughed at.

 

Completely true. What is so sad is that the former P4P king and self proclaimed greatest fighter out there, was using marketing tactics to choose fights and maintain his image, rather then just actually fighting the best out there. But he knows it and has said it numerous times, its all about $$$. Public has caught on though and the public loves Pac and is now for the first time really questioning Floyds career because of what Pac has accomplished and who he has fought in comparison to Floyd. Cotto is coming back to haunt Floyd for not insisting on the fight earlier in his career. Had he fought the best regularly, a Pac win vs Cotto wouldnt be calling Floyds career into question. That "0" on Floyds record is no longer working as well as it once had.
