Pacquiao will fall due to volume of punches, not one punch power. Hitting Pac will be easier than breathing for Mayweather. If Pacquiao ever mans up and takes the tests.

Didn't he stop him with a sick straight right hand to the liver?

Wow - That's some murderers row of "bigger, stronger guys". Really goes to the heart of the issue at hand.

    ps: 8 fights since 2004, 4 ko's = 50% KO percentage.

And, though its not really related to this thread, I thought I would mention that the punch Marquez landed on Floyd (he actually landed that same overhand right again later in the fight, not as hard as that though), always made me think about Shane's overhand right. Whenever floyd has his back on the ropes, he leaves to keep his left hand down and check hook his way to his left as his opponents are coming in (obviously how he knocked out Hatton). The thing is, you rarely see him as flat-footed as he was there against Marquez. My point is, aside from Shane's vicious left hook to the body, his overhand right is his PRIMARY weapon, and if Floyd plays that kind of Russian roulette, he could be in trouble EXACTLY like happened here with Marquez against Shane. I still have Floyd winning a close decision, but a Shane KO wouldnt surprise me at all.

And btw, I agree that Floyd's power is perhaps underrated, but definitely not SEVERELY underrated.

Well considering Mosley has only been hurt once in his career.......

And he def buckled DLH one in there fight and he's another fighter that has never really been hurt in his career.

Either way Floyd's power might be a little underrated considering some call him feather fisted but he's def doesnt have real power at 147.

Good point. A good example of this would be how Malignaggi was able to stun Diaz in their 2nd fight.

I tend to think he has no chance in stopping Mosley...Seeing the odds are small on that...Floyd has "sneaky power"....and it does get underestimated...

That fact that you actually called it a "check hook" your post became null.:good

And Floyd keeps his left hand low because he uses his shoulder to roll with it. Smarten up.

I guess I should have clarified that the 62.5% KO percentage is career as posted on boxrec.

    Indeed.

Paulie himself was utterly shocked that his pillows actually inflected damage.

Not the best opponent, but he showed lots of tricks in that fight. My fav part was when he ran 1/4 of the way across the ring to throw the straight left hand like a southpaw would at Mitchell.

Lol. It's ok, as if I wasnt aware the man keeps his left hand down to use his shoulder roll (you clearly missed the point I was trying to make). Was Floyd trying to use his shoulder roll IN THE INSTANCE Marquez tagged him prior to the knockdown? NO, he was trying to counter with the left and move to his left (as opposed to typically using the shoulder roll in the center of the ring). And, fyi, i'm not some kid that just found out what a check hook was until the Hatton fight, so please.

Yes, Floyd WILL continue to keep that left hand low, and YES, he will try to counter with his left hook and move to his left off the ropes when he faces Mosley. That is part of his game, my point was, IF he does that as flat footed as in the instance against Marquez just before the knockdown, Shane can put some real hurt on him because he has longer reach than Marquez, throws the overhand right VICIOUSLY and much better than most fighters, and is much faster than Marquez even though his better years are behind him.

He's average at best at 147. His body punching is underrated though, I'll give you that. The thing about Floyd is he fights more with his hips and foot work than his hands, and he so accurate he freezes his opponent sometimes.
