i will say the custom blue ones looked like they had no paddin. that is the fault of the everlast rep who looked like a ******.

that probably rubbed mayweather the wrong way and initiated warning bells.

If it was in the contract that Mexican Everlast gloves were fine, then it would seem that Mayweather is not fundamentally against his opponent wearing them. It would appear at something happened when they were picking out the gloves that changed his outlook. A way, what if he put in the contract for the next fight that Maidana has to wear Grant gloves, is that ok?

the everlast rep seemed like he was a member of maidanas camp or a huge fan.

My next question was going to be was it the model of glove, already agreed upon, which was rejected by Mayweather and co. or was it THE specific set of gloves which were rejected. Then, if so, were they able to use a different set of the same model, or were they strongarmed into changing the model of gloves completely.

What sounds stupid as **** is providing premade excuses before understanding what someone is getting at. I have no vested interest here. I'm learning most of this for the first time.

roger said floyd hurt his right hand before the fight! mayweather probably wasn't feeling motivated too! everybody was saying how easy it would be for him.

he flexed his A-side muscles and in the process, brought the sport into disrepute!

he has worked for them since 2008 or something. he said that in the interview.

but yea he seemed giddy and happy all the controversy was happening.

looked like a straight up unprofessional fanboy

the grant owner said if he, as a smaller company, did that he would be locked in a holding cell!

it was all the custom made gloves brought by the everlast rep that were rejected. i believe maidana eventually used the mex style everlast gloves in the fight. he just wanted to use the specially made ones.

i wasn't directing the 'stupid as fcuk' comment towards u. sorry if i gave u that impression.

Any actual proof that Mayweather forced him not to wear the red gloves that were approved by the Nevada Commission? He certainly didn't have any legal grounds to do so, and I highly doubt he was willing to walk away and **** millions of dollars down the toilet over this. Some idiot on this site said that Mayweather paid him to wear the gloves he wore in the fight but couldn't back up his claim with any evidence whatsoever.

i know the rep. cool dude. but he definitely comes off like a fan boy. he was also part of the margarito camp back in the day.

if the situation was reverse and it was floyd trying to pull a fast one...this **** would have been blown out of proportion.
