It seems that you are saying that Floyd is a coward, he's a cherry picker, yadda yadda yadda, but at the same time, you are saying that this will be the toughest fight of his career, that Marquez will fight Floyd real close.

So which is it. Gee, this sounds like alot that was said abou Oscar and Hatton. That Floyd new that he'd beat these guys, but also that they'd be the toughest fights of his career. Hmm, sounds kinda contradictory.

Why you arent hedging your bets are ya?

This just reflects how Floyd has never been one to challenge himself

A natural SFW as a potential toughest opponent to date says alot

cause they just hate and want to see him lose... even though deep down inside.. those haters know that it's gonna take a excellent gameplan to execute in order to defeat mayweather... lol

everyone who is named to face mayweather will give him his "toughest fight" until the fight ends in a W for mayweather... then it's on to the next opponent and the same thing...it just keeps gettin recycled

one day..just one day, he could have waited and had Pacquiao as his next opponent.

I am not a Floyd hater, I am a Floyd fan but also a Floyd critic. I love watching him when he's on his game (his schooling of N'Dou is one of my favourite fights), but I do believe he is guilty of cherrypicking above 135.

So I'll give you my answer anyway: I think Floyd sees Marquez as the easier option than Mosley, so he went with Marquez. However, as a Marquez fan I have no complaints. I am excited about the fight, and I think Dinamita will indeed give Floyd a test.

People will always employ a double standard in attacking Floyd.

Judah was a huge win for Cotto, yet apparently nothing for Floyd. Oscar was huge for Pacquiao, but apparently nothing for Floyd. The list goes on.

Great article. Floyd is fighting the first fighter in his career that can legitly called the smaller guy. He has fought bigger guys his whole career. Meanwhile, Hopkins gets all the credit in the world for beating welters while he was middleweight and middleweights when he was at light heavy. Obvious hypocrisy. Guys like Williams and Margarito are given credit for coming into welterweight fights at the middleweight limit and beating opponents obviously physical smaller in stature to them.

No doubt if Floyd manages to beat Marquez and Pacquiao, he will not be given credit. Because he's fighting "smaller guys". :rofl

When Floyd called out Oscar, he let Oscar choose the weight, pick the gloves, pick the ring and pick the venue. When Marquez called out Floyd, Floyd will be dropped down to 143-144.

Floyd needs to fight away from his own country for once before he gains any respect from me.

Indeed, it is rarely brought up that Floyd has largely been fighting men bigger than him. He now fights someone smaller and is lambasted for it. It's a joke.
