Mayweather has a long way to go.

Are there any halll-of-fame esqe fighters on his resume? I am not going to try and convince anyone of anything. There will be someone who always things that some fighter still fighting is at the ink of Robinson instead of realizing that Robinson was special in a way the the Beetles and the 50's Celtics were special and the 20's/50's Yankees were special. Robinson is Babe Ruth, Wilt Chamberlain with Bill Russell's rings. Robinson was "I want to Hold your Hand" on the Ed Sullivan show.

Where did Floyd establish his Ray Robinson credentials?

No, unless you make Corrales a Hall of Famer.
At 135? No, unless you make Castilio a Hall of Famer. (The best he could for a reign was Victoriano Sosa and Philip N'Dou.)

No, unless you make Gatti a Hall of Famer. When he came into this ranking around 2002 there was so many fighters he should have faced and didn't Tszyu, Harris, Mitchell, Cotto, Hatton, and Judah. I know he beat some of these guys anyway but that was much latter in their careers when the were not as good anymore or basically shot.

No, unless you make Judah a Hall of Famer. (He missed Mosley, Cotto, Margarito, Paul Williams. Instead of fighting Corey Spinks or Margarito he fought Carlos Baldmir)

No, unless you consider De La Hoya in his prime when they fought.

These last few wins for Floyd are good but basically the same versions of the fighters he has picked the lock on a long ago. Robinson would have faced Pacquaio and KO'ed and fought him again and KO'ed him again. Robinson would not have been troubled at all with anything Floyd has fought at 147 or 154. He would have run them all out of the ring screaming...just like he did to great fighters in thier prime in the greatest era of boxing.

In 2007 Floyd was the champion at welterweight. Mosley was ranked number 3 by the Ring. Where was the fight? Mosely ended up getting jobbed against Cotto who he had on the run and destroying Margarito who looked like the second coming of Lamotta against Cotto. Mosely-Mayweather didn't get made until the end of 2010. Mosely was shot then, yet still managed to stagger Floyd.

De La Hoya second to last fight he was all over Floyd. But, everyone knew that De La Hoya was not the same fighter that he was in 2000. He was old and shot. He got a gift versus Sturm, KO'ed by Hopkins, then Semi-retired, punished the easy Mayorga who was just destroyed by Trinidad...and then Mayweather. De La Hoya was all over Floyd. This may have been Floyd's toughest bout. Pacquaio just about kill Oscar a year later.

    Pacquaio's biggest wins were DLH?

    Pacquaio's biggest wins were:

Marco Antonio Barrera. Two wins one by KO. (Hall of Famer)
Erik Morales (Two wins Two by KO). (Hall of Famer)
Juan Manuel Marquez (Two wins) (Hall of Famer)

I could keep going for a long time over years of work before I got to his insignificant win of old DLH.

What prompted you to adopt the "GhettoWizard" avatar? Are you from the Lower Eastside of N.Y. 'n old enough to remember how locals thought-sure he was the next Benny Leonard?

Where was the fight with Mosley back in 2007? Probably with Mosley when he had to go to the dentist for a toothache.

8-4 Floyd over DLH....bull**** split decision but that's a given.
pacquiao killed a zombie a year later...dumb ass oscar goes down to 147 where he hasn't fought in many years. Pac was heavier than Oscar on fight night. Oh, and Roach wanted the fight because he saw during Oscar's last fight that he couldn't pull the trigger anymore.

The fight wasn't boring, l. Floyd was a brilliant matador. A true boxing fan that appreciates artistry would have been shouting OLE! The trouble with perfection is: to the CASUAL fan it's boring...the way Rigo was with Donaire...but it's boxing at it's best...worth every penny to me.

Floyd's resume is weak. It is composed of carefully hand picked opponents. Floyd's fans always try to overrate him.

It was a hallow victory. He ran away for 12 rounds and eeked out a controversial majority decision vs a weight drained fighter. Besides "Catchweights are meaningless".
