Lets face it a rematch would be HUGE, Hatton is going to want it, I can tell you that now, Guy has beaten everything apart from Floyd put in front of him, he is too determined not to want it,Floyd on the other hand is driven by money and there is no bigger money fight out there than a Hatton Rematch. It wont happen instantly, I say Hatton fights twice more then fights Floyd again. People are fickle and forget quick, Hattons wins 2 more convincingly, maybe cleans up his partying and stays fit 24/7 for a year, and he'll have evn more supporters flocking to Manchester/Vegas and Floyd will be smelling the cash. Im not saying a rematch is wise for Hatton or I think he'd get anywhere close to winning but from a business decision it makes perfect sense. In the meanwhile Mayweather puts away Cotto and then there is no big money fight left apart from Hatton.

i think floyd was guaranteed 11M while hatton 6M. that still doesn't include their PPV share though.

To quote PBF: "Ricky Hatton is one tough fighter and he's still a champion in my eyes and I'd fight him again."

But I don't believe Ricky would want a rematch, and fight fans would have no reason to believe the result would be any different if they did meet again. The other problem would be how to sell the fight - given that it doesn't have that "grudge" angle that many successful rematches rely on for marketing. If the fight had gone the distance with far closer scorecards, then maybe.

Can't see it happening again unless Hatton gets some big wins against some big names

Im in no way saying I think the fight was close, or if its a good idea but its has too strong motives for both to not want it again. They are both young, Hatton loves a challenge and Floyd is his Biggest challenge so far in his life and Floyd loves money, no bigger money fight after Cotto than a Hatton rematch.Once the press sell how Hatton has stopped Partying, added dimensions to his Arsenal Etc the public will be swayed, bear in mind 95% of the watchers arnt the hardcore ESB regulars but your Jo Schmo UFC ppv buyer.
