Could happen but I think DLH would outmuscle hatton easy.

i agree. i wouldn't be suprised if DLH took a fight with hatton instead of mayweather. the fight everyone will want to see now is mayweather-cotto. hatton had his shot, and he got KTFO. however, stylewise, he'd be perfect for oscar to make a come back on.

The thing is.. Floyd said himself.. he wanted to prove he was the best by fighting the best on offer..

IF he fights Cotto and wins.. he himself will know he's affirmed himself as the best and won't want to fight again mark my words..

If he does decide to fight anyone after Cotto i'de predict it to be someone he's never faced before, like Williams.. not Hatton again..

I don't see people taking as much interest to a fight thats already a forgone conclusion.. I certainly wouldn't give a damn about watching a re-match with Hatton..

I would watch a rematch but you know the score, mayweather was to quick to classy for ricky hatton. Even at 140 the result would have been the same, his style of coming forward was taylor made for mayweather to land a left check hook like he did. Why on earth hatton didnt cover up more or come forward with movemnt is beyond me, he came forward in a straight line for that hook and mayweather seen it miles off.

i dont think a hatton fight will happen. after the PBF-DLH fight, everyone said there would be a rematch for all the money in it and it never happened. The DLH fight was a close fight and didnt happen, so a convincing knock out win wouldnt happen. The only fight i want to see floyd in is against Cotto, if he doesnt fight him next ill be extremely disappointed in him. And IF floyd wins against Cotto, hes done all he needs to and should retire for good.

I can't see a rematch. Hatton isn't money motivated as much as Floyd anyway. If somehow they did make a rematch they'd be better off having it over in the UK at Wembley or something.

All this talk surrounding Cotto-Mayweather, how about Cotto fighting Hatton first, in what could be an aggressive encounter, before being handed his ticket for an Undefeated face off with PBF (assuming he beats Hatton, which I think he should).

Cotto-Hatton would definitely be one for the boxing fans (assuming Hatton decides to remain in the Welterweight division).

He didn't really have a choice. He was going to lose it on points anyway, because Mayweather was cruising ahead of him. His only option was a KO, which Mayweather was obviously prepared for.
