Floyd Hits way harder than Berto and Maidana

Firstly take out the knockout ratio's , this means nothing unless you can compare like for like resume's.

Floyd has always had underated power . I think the first we seen of this was against Corrales , when in the build up the puncher in the fight certainly wasnt Floyd , yet after 10 rounds and 5 knockdowns from lead left hooks it was a different story.

Floyds next big puncher was N'dou, again Floyd was the non puncher against a fighter naturally bigger and a ratio of close to 100%. Floyd again was the puncher in the fight.

Floyds biggest fight of his career against Oscar - if there was to be a knockout it was only going to come from one fighter - De la Hoya . Yet again Floyd had the power .

Hatton - never really in trouble against much bigger punchers than Floyd in Tszyu and Phillips , was hit way harder as early as the second round, it was only Hattons great chin and fitness at that time that got him through to the 10th.

Last fight against an albeit shell of Mosley , Floyd looked the puncher . Yes Mosley had his moments early , but after the second there was onlly one puncher in that fight , and to be honest I think Floyd should have stopped shane around the 10th.

Looking at Berto and Maidana the two biggest punches Ortiz have fought , both dropped him hard and hurt him .

Floyd not only hits way harder than both , but straighter , cleaner and quicker.

Money stops Ortiz (who doesnt move his head by the way) around the 8th in a onesided affair.

I can only go from what I have seen at the top level . Maidana and Berto land their Sunday bests against Khan , Kotelnik and Collazo respectively and they dont budge.

I just see it being about levels , Morales even said that Maidana has good power , but doesnt hit as hard as Barrera. Whilst Berto looks powerful but only knocks out C grade opponents.

Floyd has knocked out or Hurt A grade opponents , which is the difference. Its not only about knocking out fighters which show your power. If for instance Gatti or Judah didnt feel the power , then why would they be going backwards ?

Man you have me wrong , and I can assure you this is not a desperate thread for affection or attention . I just look at fighters with clubbing power and those of what I would call electric power , the shock factor. I believe Maidana falls into the clubbing power and Floyd into the shock power , which is always the more powerful .
