Who would you say had the harder of these three punches

    1.Jab
    2.Straight right
    3 Lead left hook.

I have Floyd taking all three , Maidana and Berto throw alot of wide hooks , and this is where they generate alot of their knockouts , but against the top level these are easily countered.

You wont see Floyd throwing this type of punch. My point is they need to throw these types of punches to generate their power , where as Floyd doesnt.

A true banger is someone like Gerald McClellen who throws balanced punches and doesnt really look like its an effort. Maidana just throws hail mary punches .

I dont think Floyd has massive power, although Im not sure I can quantify the power of Maidana or Ortiz either, although both appear to be somewhat heavy handed.

If I had to guess I would say Money has enough power for anyone at 147 and maybe 154 but I do think his power comes from his speed and accuracy.

Ortiz will show no respect for Floyds power in the first few rounds as Floyd will be on the backfoot/defensive this will be Ortiz best shot at beating/KO Floyd sure as hell he won't beat him on points.

Only a ***** could concoct such wild imagination!

I read a thread a few months ago too that stated that Fraud is the best pressure fighter in boxing today!

What's next? He is the best jabber? Wait I read that too.

When people say punching power in boxing they are not talking about the literal scientific definition of power. They are talking more about instantaneous force or impact force. Dorks that post highschool physics equations that have nothing to do with the discussion are annoying.

  6. I don't think he hits harder, but sometimes it isn't strictly about how hard you hit someone. Sometimes it has a lot to do with how well you hit them, and if you hit them when they aren't expecting it--which can have a huge impact. So, by and large, I would say Floyd is the better puncher, yes, because he has so many attributes that don't necessarily relate to power but are no less important that pure power.

No you can't do this it is a direct indicator of OK power. The rest of your argument proves nothing because this kind of sampling could be applied to many fighters.

I';d more assert Floyd's timing and accuracy is the base of his punching ability.

    Power not so much.

Maidana KO percentage is a lot higher than Floyd`s.
