What buggs me out is that ppl really thinks Mayeather studys every singl opponent in order to know which fighter to cherry pick or not. I bet you he doesn't really know most of the guys he fights like that other then some footage here and there. They act like he goest to every fighters fights and sits in his room studying tape 24/7 to understand which fighters to cherry pick.

yeah good point. He barely watches any boxing as it is. I'm sure he studies his opponents once it's time to fight, but he's not in his room at night looking at Alexander, Guerrero, Canelo, and Danny Garcia trying to decide

 

Exactly, most of the time its Oscar comming to him offering him purses for fighters and he will take the offer that sounds the most appealing finacially and in terms of promoting his brand. Oscar as a promoter most likely sells him on who he should fight to get the largest paydays just as any promoter would in order to entice Mayweather to keep fighting under there bannar and make money with them. But I don't think he puts as much thought as fans would believe in what exactly each fighter brings to the ring boxing wise until he is signed to fight the guy.
