I think I seen a major change in Pacquiao...I took my time, I made the right move, and I'm just ready to go out there and be exciting. "

This is quite true. However whatever happened to Bob and his phantom stadium etc? Bob wants te fight now because his next best opponent was Jessie Vargas.

Really glad to see the fight but to pretend it's not because both the bobfather and Mayweather ran out of viable cash generating alternatives is ludicrous.

BT: "After nearly 6 years, how did the fight finally come about? Was it a difficult processs to get to the finish line in these negotiations?"

FM: "It was very, very difficult. We forced them to fight. We gave them no choice. Al and Bob and HBO and Showtime were going back and forth, trying to make the fight happen. It was a battle, but everybody is happy now and it's time to give the people what they want to see. Everyone was saying, "Sign the contract! Sign the contract!" As soon as Arum signed and as soon as Manny signed, Al Haymon brought the contract right to me and I signed the contract with no problem at all. I'm not here to say anything negative about Bob or say anything negative about Manny. That's not my job to do. I'm a boxer/entertainer and my job is to go out there and entertain and be the best that I can be. I'm just happy that we were able to make the fight happen. I can't wait."

Looks like floyd got caught in another web of lies here from non other than floyd-hype. He's saying that he forced pac's camp to fight when we all know that pac was the first to call him out, conceeded all of floyd's demand (except for the demand that arum must go out for the fight to get made) and keep asking floyd to sign the contract since a month ago which his fans heavily defended here that there is no contract.

Arum was instrumental in this. We remember arum quoted as saying that he would ask his long time friend moonves to force floyd to take the pacquiao fight next while floyd trying to field an excuse that arum must not get involved first in order for the fight to get made. Moonves actually set floyd straight and told him who's the boss.

They both have. I didn't expect Maidana to win a single second of a single round let alone push Floyd.

Now don't start readying excuses if your boy loses after banging on for the past few months about how cowardly Floyd will never take the fight as he knows he'd lose.

It'd be great to see Finally have this question answered and either the likes of you and Constable or MVC and his joy boy buddies are going to eat some serious crow.

Don't worry though, I'm sure IB will post a sticky with the Samaritans number on if it all gets too much. Give then a call if Pac loses, they'll be there to help you through it.

    Those are the facts doe:yep

"I think I seen a major change in Pacquiao...I took my time, I made the right move, and I'm just ready to go out there and be exciting. "

"I'm happy that the fight is finally taking place. It's all about self-preservation."

anyone who reads that can understand Floyd waited for pac to decline before fighting him it was a smart move in his mind

even in 2012 Floyd was still reluctant to fight pac hence he offered him a stupid offer 40 mill NO PPV and this was when pac was rated number 1

but in 2014 pac declines and officaly lost to Bradley and knocked out by marque he gets 60-40 with ppv money

Don't believe the hype. Mayweather will say absolutely anything to make himself sound credible.

Mayweather was forced into taking this fight by Leslie Moonves. Thats the only reason its finally happening.

If Arum was the problem then we wouldn't have debated the Blood tests in the first place or does Floyd think that Pac agreeing to the full random tests back then would make Bob Arum magically disappear?

Again if Arum was the real problem his name would come up first long before the blood tests and the money split shenanigans.

Doesn't get any clearer than that, you'll still get morons arguing to the contrary though.

    same interview.....

There were times when it seemed like these negotiations were touch and go. When Bob started the "He's Scared" mantra, I thought it might not get...

FM: [Cutting in] I've fought for over 30 years. I've been a professional now 19 years, you know, and world champion 18 years, and I'm not scared of any fighter. The thing is this, I feel that I earned the right to be the A-side. I dedicated myself to the sport of boxing

SO THERE YOU GO. NOT SCARED.
