Floyd roadblock/excuse #3,567. That's two in one week. The other was that Manny has to join Floyd's company if he wants to fight Floyd. It's been a good summer for Floyd. He came up with two new excuses for not fighting Manny. He's fighting a catchweight which he swore he didn't believe in. And he's promoting a fighter that set a record for the highest level of testosterone usage in the history of Nevada sport.
Y'all saw what happened to Donaire. Arum knew better than to match a slick mover like Rigo against Donaire. He's not going to let that happen to PEDcquiao who couldn't close off the ring against Mosley, who had trouble with Bradley with bad feet and of course JMM who moves just enough to plant the typhoon replicated punch. Floyd v Pac will never happen under Arum's watch. Floyd is the wrong fight for Manny and Arum knows it. Manny knows it too, he's just too stupid to realize it.
Right now PAC is not on top and like it or not, PAC best days are long gone. I think he gets seriously hurt if he fights Floyd now.
PAC is the owner of the greatest achievement in boxing, moving up to welterweight and scaring the **** out of Floyd the so called GOAT...nothing will ever top that. My health come first atsch.
barrera: floyd haters claimed pac was true lb for lb number one? are you including ring magazine and boxing writers of america in that? that claim invalidates your entire post, and suggest you've fallen for someone's spin.
Since Floyd left Top Rank, Arum hasn't been too excited with trying to pit his fighters against him. i remember when Miguel Cotto was sitting ringside and watching Floyd absolutely destroy Gatti in Atlantic City at 140 lbs, it prompted Arum to say his fighter was "too green" to step in the ring with Mayweather. this was around the time when most fans/writers thought Cotto was already in his prime so it kind of gives you an idea on what Arum must've truly thought about Mayweather's skills. If Pacman was represented by Goldenboy, or better yet, if he had his own promotional company ala Mayweather, I truly believe this fight would've been made years ago. The idea that Floyd ducked him was silly, Floyd loves money more than any other boxer probably in the history of boxing. He wouldn't have turned down 50+ million dollars to fight a guy who I'm sure he knew he could be able to beat.
iv got it copied in a notepad file on my desktop. ill just paste it when any of this uneducated fake boxing fans spew out there bull****
no many haters on the forum said "floyd was not lb for lb until he beats manny". because of his retirements he basically vacated the top spot and manny slipped in. i usually go on the ring p4p rankings and im almost certain pacquiao and floyd were both sharing the title as best p4p for atleast a year or so
I can't wait to see the HATER'S excuses when Floyd faces Matthysse and beats him Badly. Then YOU will say what?
There is a part of me that secretly wants UFC to eventually do better than boxing because of bull**** like this (and don't get it wrong, I am a huge MMA fan regardless). I am still ****ing pissed off that the Hopkins/Roy rematch never got made when they were both undisputed light heavy and middle champs. And please don't tell me they eventually fought after Roy was shot and been KO'd. Do you guys remember that "60/40" horse****?
