The same roadblock Uncle Bob put up to all Top Rank fighters idiot.

Pac was a GBP fighter and took his dumb ass back. It will all be revealed when Pac comes up broke. Bob has been butt banging Pac's wallet for years.

Wasn't Floyd retired when Manny made it to the top?

barrera: reasonable enough, but i'd contend pac was top on merit.

it's also a matter of public record that pac didn't walk from negotiations at the mention of testing, rather he requested a cut-off. you ain't presenting an unbiased, factual version of events.

hope you're enjoying the ashes down there as much as i am!

Pacman is not the sharpest tool in the shed, and is there really any pro athlete who is? I don't blame him for leaving the business up to his handlers.

Don't buy it, in 2012 Pac wasn't on top anyway, he had just came off the back of a very unconvincing performance in the Marquez 3 fight when Floyd made that phone call. 2008-2010 was when Pacquiao looked like the terminator and there were a variety of reasons it didn't happen, the biggest one being Bob Arum. However, one of the other reasons was that Mayweather was a bit reluctant I think. Not scared, but I think that version of Pacquiao is possibly the only guy Mayweather has doubted his ability to beat.

It's a real shame it didn't happen, would have given the whole sport an unbelievable boost. Mayweather comes off worst from it too, I really think he would have beaten Pacquiao and it would have been his signature win.

If not for Floyd health PAC would have gotten it when PAC was at his best.

Floyd would get no credit for beating Pac now. People just looove to discredit his victories. All they'll do is make excuses anyway.

Plus, the fight is not worth as much money as it was before. It's no longer a superfight - it's an afterthought. A "what could have been" is all it ever will be, even if it happens now.

Mayweather needs to focus his mind on Saul Alvarez. I really believe he wanted the Pac fight. It just didn't materialize.

Problem is that they kept changing the cutoff date.

these posts calling for the fight to happen now just show how biased the floyd haters are. The fight can not be made while Manny fights for top rank. It makes since what floyd suggests if manny came to mayweather promotions it would be an obstacle free fight. Manny will not leave top rank ever. He is protected from all the GBP fighters who look so good right now.

Why the lol??? It was no joke Floyd rejected $8mil to fight Tony Margarito.
Instead he met Carlos Baldomir for less $$$$$$$$ . Just like Oscar the brass boy, Floyd saw what Tony did to Cotto & ran for the hills. Floyd RETIRED!!! rather than face Tony.
They were scared to face Tony in the ring so Tony got railroaded to get him out of the way. Some champions HUH?????????????:patsch
