Floyd Mayweather told a group of journalists he would return from prison a stronger man. Just before challengers hope that the jail term will melt the rated richest sportsman, the moneyman warns he will show no mercy on his return to the ring.

I hope he doesn't fight for ~12 months after being released from prison.

12 weeks without proper nutrition and training will result in a dramatic loss of conditioning, and to a lesser extent skill set.

It will take at least 6 months to get close to his pre-prison level.

Conditioning in particular suffers quickly when adequate training is absent, and even more rapidly at the elite level where Floyd dwells.

And due to the poor nutrition he's subject to the effects are compounded, muscle loss is exacerbated and I'm not even going to mention the mental challenges that would adversely impact his performance in the ring.

Please, Floyd. Don't fight till you know you're ready.

im wearing my free floyd tee today. it might make him a bitter and meaner fighter. what ever it does jail dont help you i would think, but maybe on some mental **** he can use it to his advantage. dont know how but who knows, i dont think floyd should fight this yr because of jail.i know he wants to stay busy and sharp and its only 90 days but he got to eat **** his body aint use to and that could **** him and then he cant be a gym rat either.

Floyd's the GOAT of our era, unquestionably.

He's a couple places off GOAT overall.
