he is right and he did dominate marquez when he was ranked P4P number 2 in the world and coming off a 18 month retirement and he chose marquez for a tune up and wins every round. Marquez is a ATG and got outclassed by floyd hugely

Not fighting Pacquiao will define how people remember him, which is a shame because he is an atg.

Just a paper trail which is what Mayweather's good at manipulating.
He will be remembered more for Zab than Baldomir who is even now largely forgotten.

Marquez isn't a great win. Too small.

That's not how it works. P4P is a system of ranking across weight classes. It doesn't mean to beat smaller fighters up in the p4p ranking gives you more legitimacy over proper fighters in your weight class. Other great paper manipulation by Floyd. "I'll beat this little ****er up at p4p #2 and you fans will eat it up even though I duck everyone my size who is prime or near prime."

    lol at these guys.

you seriously gauge Floyd's greatness by gauging his fight against Juan manuel Marquez? **** Floyd even cheated on the scales ffs.

So what if JMM was pfp #2 and Floyd had 18 months vacation? Floyd's last fight was WW while JMM's last was LW, and you were like comparing the two as if they fought at WW for almost their entire life? It's like Bute fighting Cotto at 168 for crying out loud.

Whether or not he came in 2lbs over the limit (which Marquez and his team signed a contract agreeing to) has nothing to do with the matter, Floyd outboxed him, he didn't overpower him

Pacquiao was just beaten by Marquez at that same weight, so again, not sure what your point is.

Bute fights at 168 and has a ringweight of 180, Cotto fights at 154 and probably has a ring weight of a maximum of 160, so a 20 lb differece isn't the same at all really, and no, a 6'2 man fighting a 5'7 man and dragging him up in weight isn't comparable to 5'8 and 5'7

Marquez getting schooled at a weight he wasn't used to may have seemed like a big thing, untill he pretty much embarrased Pacquiao at his second time at the same weight at 38 years of age

I Know. but gauging Floyd win and Pac's win over JMM doesn't even makes sense.

poor pacfags trying so hard to make everything that happened with Juan at welter irrelevant because he exposed all of emmanuel's careful matchmaking in recent years

I never seen a fanbase that hates as many boxers. it must be hard to be them, they can't even enjoy many of today's great fighters from Martinez to Maarquez.
