What are numbers... numbers are for insecure big ego people.... true fans don't care about such PPV numbers your saying... they appreciate explosive exiciting talent.... people can relate to Manny because he went from 0 to hero... and this waving that your doing... means nothing to me... it just show's that you don't welcome new interpretation.

Floyd has yet to say he's getting $40 million, it's been reported on boxing websites. Boxing fans shouldn't speak on what they see reported now unless it's anti Mayweather?

Actually its because Floyd is not a licensed promoter. This is why he uses GBP. Its also because they have an agreement to promote Floyds fights in return for a $10mil loan fronted to Floyd back before his JMM bout.

If Floyd was licensed to promote, dont you think he would without having to cut GBP a peice of the pie?

The bottomline is that when both were active fighting 2x a year PBF was #1 period. PBF is inactive so Manny took his spot only by default not by proving he is the better fighter. And like I said earlier PBF is still the betting favorite in the fight so you *******s can have your paper P4P #1 title if you want to because when they meet in the ring PBF will show you all who indeed is better and #1 all along.

There's a difference in viewership though. Majority of people who tune in and purchase Floyd's ppv's do so in hopes to witness him lose. Once that happens he will lose his marketability. Its his oh so precious "0" that keeps people intrigued. On the other hand, fans will continue to purchase Pac's ppv's for the simple fact that he is an entertaining fighter and will continue to lay it on the line time after time and not try and cruise his way to a boring decision on points. Pac can lose his next fight and still do 1mil ppv buys in his very next bout.

i disagree. we don't know that.

if floyd were to lose against ortiz or manny, there would be a rematch.

knowing floyd he would probably say the only reason he got 1 lost because the other dude got lucky.

I was thinking something along those lines, its all about risk/reward, floyd is probably thinking ill just carry on like im doing and if pac is still there at the end i might fight him, he doesnt care about what the fans want so its no problem to him

The reason why people tune in is irrelevant. The real issue here is he's the biggest draw in the sport and has the PPV buys to back it up.

I'm not so sure about that... Pac's PPV buys just went up after ODLH. I know Floyd's did as well, but since neither has lost since getting huge PPV's we don't know what a loss would do to those numbers.. If Floyd makes Pac look ordinary I think his stock would plummet, same as I believe Floyd's would if Pac made him look like the rest of his opponents.
