.... is it bad or good for Floyd ? why ? and what is the agenda in hiring a conditioning coach that Floyd fans hated and called a cheater because of his shakes :smoke
I don't think anybody's head can grow as much Pacroid's head. It grew larger than Barry Bonds'! Pacroid #1 HGH Head
Floyd hasn't officially hired Ariza. He just made him sign a 2 year non compete and nondisclosure contract. So if Ariza was to train anybody, Floyd has first dibs on him. I read that Ariza is leaving boxing to go work for a soccer team in Europe. Floyd could have made Ariza sign this contract just so nobody else could use him when fighting Floyd
Ariza working with Pac: "A provider of PED's thru Ariza-Smoothies" :rofl Ariza working with Floyd: "Just a S&C coach" :rofl *****s, what losers they are :rofl
Its neither. Ariza got fired from Oxnard for being Haymon's conduit to the fighters there, specifically Mikey Garcia. Thus, Haymon makes sure he gets a check and signs a non disclosure agreement. Its pretty simple. Chances are Ariza doesnt do anything meaningful with Floyd. Maybe he will, who knows. Maybe he gets some work whipping some TMT guys into shape. Either way, its a simple quid pro quo situation. I think most likely is he takes his money and works outside of boxing for a bit.
Ariza's not going to sign a multiyear non compete and non disclosure contract without a significant cash outlay on Floyd's behalf. Getting cash and signing an exclusive contract sounds an awful lot like a hiring in my book. With the gag orders, the exact nature of the deal won't become public. We simply won't know the capacity Ariza is working with Floyd in.
Might make him a little more explosive. Floyd doesnt seem to be much into strength training or plyometrics, although at his age, there isnt going to be some big difference
floyd needs all the help he can get at his age.. ariza for all his shadyness has worked wonders with many fighters. surely he can help floyd improve
i think it would be beneficial to Floyd having Ariza if he fights Pac in 2015 ... it's not only on conditioning but also the tons of info he can get from Ariza. ...is it part of the strategy ? or he's just playing mind games ? ...or he just want to see Ariza kick Roach again
yeah of course he's most likely getting paid. I just mean that he may not be training Floyd at all and Floyd just had him sign a contract to keep him from going against Ariza
Floyd hiring and/or signing Ariza to a non-compete contract is equal to Lennox Lewis signing Maurice Harris (and not using him as a sparring partner) before the Mike Tyson fight.
