A good performance by Floyd. But Canelo is not exactly on the level of Mc Callum, two different animals in there. Faded Delahoya had more similarities with Mc Callum than Canelo: good jab, good left hook and height . Although Mc Callum was a lot better. Don't get me wrong, I still think Floyd did very well against Delahoya, considering that he started out at 135 pounds. Mc Callum is just too big and technically skilled for Floyd, in my opinion.
A good puncher, quick and explosive. He appeared to be a complete fighter at 147 pounds. Floyd would be much on the defensive against Curry.
Canelo reminds me a little of McCallum. They're both well schooled, thoughtful fighters who take rounds to get going. McCallum has had to win a few fights after falling behind. Oscar, on the other hand, is more likely to start fast and then fade. He even took early rounds off Hopkins. The way he lost to Mayweather was pretty typical for his career.
Well done. You have just given a perfect example of the futility of p4p rankings. So lets just get this straight. You want to worship at the alter of Mayweather because he went up to fight a 34 year old Oscar who had fought once in the previous 20 months, and a 39 year old Mosley who hadn't fought for 15 months. Says it all about Mayweather. I simply can't wait for your next crock of sh!t.:nut
Erm, didn't DLH also start out at 135, go down to 130 for a couple of fights then straight back up to 135 again?
