    Manny Pacquiao in 3 fights vs Juan Manuel Marquez wasnt able to land over 176 punches on JMM over the course of 7 years in 3 fights in 3 different weight classes. Floyd Mayweather on the other hand was able to land 290 punches on Juan Manuel Marquez in just one fight. This is over 100 more than Pac has ever landed on Marquez......lets look inside the #'s

    If Pacquiao's offense is so amazing and better than Mayweather then why has he never been able to dominate Marquez in 3 fights the way Mayweather did in 1? Why was Mayweather able to land 290 punches on JMM (coming off a 16 month layoff while JMM was ranked #2 P4P in the world coming off 2 great KO wins) and Pacquiao coming off his greatest training camp ever (and fighting Marquez 2 years after Mayweather dominated him) unable to land more than 176 punches on a 38 year old Marquez?​

    because JMM is a counter puncher so essentially they should do the same things to Pac.

    Mayweather doesnt fight like Hatton or De La hoya or Mosley...but why would you even want to use those fights....

    Hatton was already ko'ed by Maywea...aww nevermind you know the deal already...

    I won't say that Floyd is a BETTER offense fighter than manny. That is such a broad area to try to compare. I would give the nod to manny however Floyd is a smarter offense fighter. 130lbs Floyd is a different story.

    Styles make fights, the quality of Marquez's weight were polar opposite for those two fights, and he is an outlier in comparison to the rest of their common opponents. I'd have to say I disagree.

    Floyd's not even an offensive fighter. His offense is weak by comparison anyway. He's a potshot artist with very little variety in his punches and he hardly throws body punches or any combinations.

    Marquez himself said that he had to chase Floyd. "Floyd didn't want to fight." 2 counterpunchers, someone's got to chase. Marquez chased.
