Joe Cortez did resume the fight. From the beginning of the round, Floyd followed the rules down to a T. The problem is he broke the rules that are written in man code. That's why most of us feel disappointed with the end.
I can't blame Floyd, but at the same time I wish he would've taken a diff. route. He was clearly walking down Ortiz and putting an excellent performance.
Being impartial and unbiased, I can now see more evidently that not even Pacquiao can beat Mayweather. Judging not from the knockout, but from the perfect moves he showed prior to it.

Thank you for objectivity. Manny has not a prayer against Mayweather, and yes he did violate man code a bit, but in my opinion it was an infraction or petty offense, not the felony *******s are trying to make it out to be. Everybody at the place I was watching it was like,

You can't fight dirty and then stand there holding your dick when the ref says fight. Ortiz had it coming and he should have protected himself.

Yeah he did, he asked for a "bell" after he already started the round up again, thats why he was looking away.

This controversy is hilarious. Time had been called in, the round had restarted. Mayweather can't win, people just hate him cause he's a ***** but he's the best fighter in the world. People are basically blasting Mayweather for hitting a gu...y during a round of a boxing match. Punching is allowed in boxing. Headbutting is not. Ortiz broke the rules and headbutted blatantly then tried to hug his opponent during the round, Mayweather hit him with a legal punch when he tried to hug him. Simply amazing that Mayweather gets blasted for KO'ing a guy with a perfectl legal two piece when the round was called back on, after getting blatantly fouled. First rule in boxing is protect yourself at all times, not Mayweather's fault that Ortiz tried to hug and kiss after the round restarted, him suckering Ortiz in for the 1-2 was perfectly legal as the round was offically restart ed
