At least that is what I am gathering by listening to his fan boys. Hatton does not stand a chance, Floyd is going to win every minute of every round and this is a complete mismatch. Just another typical handpicked opponent by Floyd
Floyd is the best boxer out there hands down but if Floyd wins this fight easily...outbox Hatton and make him look very average like he did against Gatti and Corrales then I have a feeling that a lot of people won't give him his due. I can see it now...."Hatton was overrated in the first place"..Hatton is a clubfighter" "Hatton beat a shot Tszyu and a shot Castillo he's nothing special, Floyd really needs to step up and fight somebody like Cotto" "Floyd is a chicken...etc"
I have no problem with this fight, despite Ricky being a natural 140 pounder. Hatton is a top 10 pound for pound fighter and a 3-time world champion - a very worthy opponent. If (when) Floyd beats him, I will give him a lot of credit. Then he must fight Cotto
You are mad saying Floyd Mayweather is a punk. He has consistently fought the best , if your saying he fights pressure fighters all the time and there easy for him then thats silly because there the best pressure fighters around. And Zab couldnt have been easy
That is how I see it. But alot of people are saying Hatton is crap. Hatton shouldn't be in the same ring. I do not feel that and if he was/is Floyd should not be fighting him.
If you want to get really technical, I guess it would be a more accurate assessment to call him a "3 time title holder" But when they announce him, he is referred to as a "3 time world champion" because he has won the IBF, WBA @ 140 (from Tszyu and Maussa) as well as the WBA @ 147 (from Collazo)
Sorry I trying to be a nob with you then , I wouldnt say I was getting technical though , hes not a 3 time world champion
Why do people continue to attempt to knock Floyd's resume? Chico Castillo X2 Gatti Oscar Judah Hatton (soon) Plus a long list of good to very good fighters...(Corley, Ndou, Hernandez, Augustus, Chavez, etc.) Does he have the greatest list of opponents ever? NO! But his resume is quite good actually.
