After JMM in November, PAC will fight Saul Alvarez in Mexico for $65 million next year. What will Floyd "Smart Bman" Mayweather Jr. will do then?
You guys are making too much out of this. Floyd isnt avoiding Pac because he wants more money for the fight or is in fear that Pacquiao is on steroids. He just doesnt have the motivation for it. You can offer him $100 million and he'd still reject it because of all his legal problems as well as his Trainer's legal problems. Floyd needs to be motivated to get back in the ring and money wont do that since he already has a lot of it. He got motivated to get back against Hatton because Hatton disrespected him. He got motivated to get back in against JMM because he missed the attention and was looking forward to a Pacquiao fight whom he perceived as an easy fight at the time until Pac/Cotto. He got motivated against Mosley because he was disrespected right after his comeback win. He is desperate that Pacquiao call him out and disrespect him to give him the motivation to fight him. Which is why he kept telling the media "if Pac wants the fight he has to call me out, everyone else did" junk. Floyd's life is in turmoil right now. Hes facing heavy prison time and civil lawsuits up the ying/yang. The last thing he is thinking right now is boxing believe me but he's an attention ***** and he only gets attention because of boxing. So he'll say whatever to get you guys to keep taling about him but in reality Floyd isnt coming back into the ring anytime soon. He's retired for good or atleast for awhile.
you think floyd han't gotten big offers to fight oversees before? :rofl:rofl You underestimate mayweather.
i'll fight pac for a million, i just need one clear opening and I guarantee I could knock the midget out. :deal
who cares if hes a smart businessman?! hes a boxer!.. we want to see him fight! ...(not show us how wealthy he is)
That's true. But you have your figures wrong. Floyd is making about $50 million a bout, doing it his way. In total. If Floyd fought twice a year, people would get bored of him, and he'd make nowhere near as much He's playing Oscars trick. Staying out of the ring, you become almost "mythical" and people get obsessed with your return. Minute he comes back, against ANYONE, he's making double what Pacquiao makes
Yes, Hatton, Oscar, Marquez, Mosely are terrible opponents to face. Pacquiao fans amaze me sometimes. I'm not sure their brain is in gear
$100 mill isn't that much for Mayweather vs. Pacquiao Manny's tied into a terrible deal. Mayweather promotes himself, Oscar style. When Oscar fought Mayweather, he walked away with about 85 million in total. Floyd will be expecting something similar for Pacquiao
Come on. If the fight never happens, Manny only has himself to blame. He ruined the fight over the principle that he couldn't do drug tests within 14 days of the fight. That excuse turned out to be pathetic, as he changed his mind 12 months later
Manny's been cherry picking since the fight fell through. Come on. Look at events. Bob Arum wants to lock him into 5-6 easy, big money fights, before he feeds the guy to Mayweather
