What's the point with another Ricky fight but $$$$$$$$$$$$? Rumors must be true about his finances. PBF-Margarito is better. Give Hatton to Pac. :yep
I'm a huge Mayweather fan but i'll renounce that if he comes back to fight anyone other than- Margarito, Cotto, Williams, Pavlik ( a la SRL). He's allowed a tune up and if he's looking at hatton as a tune up for one of these guys then that's a legitimate tune up but **** him if it's a one fight comeback to beat a guy he already destroyed and then back to retirement.
Wasn't he supposed to be coming back to have a go at that cage stuff or something... I believe that as much as I believe this story.
very believable. so this phony retirement was really just a shelter to hide from Cotto and Margarito. what a coward.
**** Floyd . . . and shame on him. He said he doesn't need the money . . . then what is his business picking who to fight? He should remain retired.:deal . . . yeah right report from UK . . . and you think those people in UK knows better than the boxing reporters, boxing outfits and nertworks who are just under PBF's nose here in U.S.? :rofl :rofl :rofl
:good i totally agree. how can someone with so much talent walk away still in his prime? he still has alot to prove if he wants to be up there with those legends.
If he does that...it'll hurt him more then help. And also pretty much solidify the notion he retired rather then face Williams, Cotto, or Margarito.
For the record: I respect the now retired Mayweather. He had a spectacular career up to 140, got some decent wins at 147, then he retired because he said he wasn't motivated to fight anymore, plus he doesn't need more money from fighting. Some say he did it to avoid certain fighters (=the top dogs at 147), but nobody can actually prove that. So I respect the man's decision. If he came back and faced the top dogs at 147 (=if he gave fans the fights they want to see him in), he would get mad respect from me, and he would shut up all those people who accused him of ducking and/or cherry-picking. EVEN if he lost a fight. If he came back and fought... Hatton... or Malignaggi... then he would prove that those who accused him of ducking and/or cherry-picking, were right. That would mean he was actually lying about the reasons he retired, which would be a disgrace. The only "money" fight I would be OK with for Mayweather, would be against Pacquiao, but only if Pac proves he can carry his power up to 147 in the DLH fight (that would mean that a fight with Mayweather would be 100% legit). Peace.
