he would beat hatton 10 out of 10 times.... how would they sell a rematch, the first was so one sided....
Rematches often come to fruition when the first bouts are competitive, as well as if the were just close or controversial. Margarito vs. Cotto was competitive till close to the end and very entertaining till the end. It had drama. Hatton vs. Mayweather was good for about 6 rounds, but there wasn't any drama after about round 6. And it wasn't close after there as well. But Floyd did close the show right. Let me guess, you bitched and complained about Vasquez vs. Marquez II right?
It's nothing but a money grab just like Oscar-Pac.:deal If the fight happens it will sell out Wembley and do good PPV numbers as well. Hatton can retire and PBF can retire again or setup something down the road.
Spare me Lance. Cotto-Margo while not as one-sided as PBF Hatton was a far more brutal beating that takes more out of a fighter. He will never be able to stand up to Margo's attack he doesn't have the defense, chin or ring IQ to do it. He's no PBF he can't fight that style for a full 12 rounds he lacks the stamina and skills to do so. Margo will always be bigger and stronger that will never change. Margo will always be able to take what Cotto gives and beg for more and pound on him. When the rematch occurs I predict Margo by KO even sooner Cotto was beaten mentally as well as physically in that fight. A rematch with Margo is hazardous to Cotto's health I would advise against it at all costs.
I think he should fight Margo. If Pac pulls off a miracle Vrs DLH then I'd like to see him fight PAC. Perhaps DLH is working on a conspiracy to lose against PAC and set up a mega bout floyd against PAC. If PAC beats DLH, PBF Vrs PAC will be the biggest megafight in history, no doubt about it.
hatton will lose, i just think he will.if pac beats odh which want happen thats a fight i wanted to see for a while.not many supported that fight cause the size difference fom between pac and mayweather but pac fighting a bigger guys then mayweather they could no longer used that excuse.pac vs pbf 2009 anyone
Pimp, do you agree with the "...If he came back and fought... Hatton... or Malignaggi... then he would prove that those who accused him of ducking and/or cherry-picking, were right. That would mean he was actually lying about the reasons he retired, which would be a disgrace..." part of my above post?
Spare you what? Some logic and rationale, because if I could, believe me I'd send you a bucket full. You don't know what the beating Cotto got did to him yet, so how about YOU spare me more of your BS? And the rest of your post has NOTHING to do with the rematches, which is what we were discussing remember? You get so into defending Floyd you start posting all this **** automatically that often times NO ONE is even discussing. I said rematches often happen due to a close fight, controversial fight, OR an entertaining bout. Do you disagree with that? And as I said, Hatton vs. Mayweather was pretty interesting for about 6 rounds, but aftetr that, it was clearly all Mayweather. Where was the drama? So, for ****'s sake Pimp C, TRY to stay on topic for once of you want to engage in a serious back and forth.
CarlesX7 you are 100% right. But no floyd backer will admit to this. the whole house of cards would collapse then.
A Mayweather comeback is inevitable but if it's true that he will fight Hatton again as his return bout then that just gives me another reason to dislike the guy. I really don't care to see him spank Hatton again which would also interfere with a possible Hatton/Pacquiao showdown. I'd much rather see the "Pretty Boy" get his hands dirty and fight Cotto who presents a style that would make for a greater challenge; maybe his greatest. Assuming Hatton wins he should target Pac whether he wins or loses to De la Hoya.
