    I said it elsewhere...money is not his master like other fighters.Sure its nice but he fights for pride-the Pacquaio rematch is a good example

    (I haven't read any articles regarding their purses, so I don't know)

    If that's the case then he sure as hell is not doing this for the money. He can probably make that fighting a lesser threat!

    He probably also took this fight because if he beats Floyd, he will be the biggest name in boxing and secure himself as one of the, if not THE best Mexican fighter of this generation and many before.

    I was using that as nothing more than an example of what a pay raise even an absurdly low payday vs Mayweather would bring. I don't know what the final numbers will be, but I know it'll be a massive increase over anything he's made thus far.

    Marquez could surprise a lot of fans out there. Void refused to fight Pac because he is afraid. Void can have "his" referee and judges to help him out with Marquez and Marquez is a small fighter.
