Getting caught cheating is ok, if you're caught by your own tests. That's how it works I think, Ice. I mean, the theme is all there - 'it's all good if we're the ones doing it'.

    agree 100%

they call guys they hate steroid cheats who have never tested positive because they can "fool the tests"

and guys who test positive are actually clean because the tests were wrong/contaminated

its all a ****ing joke man

No one said cheating is ok. Berto was caught, and will probably be suspended. The whole issue with Mayweather was pushing for tougher testing to ensure that fighters are caught when using PEDs. Berto has no issues being tested. Again, if Mayweather is pushing for tougher testing, and Berto wants to be and has been subjected to this tougher testing, then what is the issue?

What is the issue? The issue is that the guy who is supposedly cleaning up the sport signs a guy who tested positive as one of his first acquisitions. Are you serious?

so take a guy who tested positve and closed down an entire fight card that had alot of money rolled up in it 2 weeks prior to the fight. alot of money was lost. people were pissed. showtime, golden boy, the venue where it sold all the tickets.
NOW take a chance on this same guy and hope he doesnt waste your time or your money. thats the issue

He was caught using the same method of testing that Mayweather is advocating. Now I don't know what Mayweather's complete stance is, but unless he's in favor of issuing life time bans for anyone who tests positive for any reason, then there is no problem. By the logic being thrown around here, Mayweather was in the wrong for fighting Shane Mosley. It's the same concept.

Stop playing dumb. The issue is: certain fans -- who've been shitting on Pac for the past 3 years for something there's no proof of him being -- suddenly forgiving Berto for testing positive now that he's signed with TNT; even citing contamination as an innocent excuse. It's possible that that line of thinking isn't just restricted to the fans, either. I'm pretty sure Fiddy -- who in the past has blasted Pac for cheating -- along with TNT are not saying to Berto, "You a ****ing cheat, can't believe you did that :verysad". Nope. They're there probably telling him "Ah don't worry about that ****, mayne. Ain't no thang. You with the Money Team now, son :thumbsup".

Hypocrisy at its finest, from both the newly formed TNT and its big hoard of sheep that call themselves fans.

What you're saying here suggests that the signing of Berto is a big mistake from a financial standpoint. However, the thread strongly indicates that it's an issues from a philosophical standpoint. I don't believe there is a philosophical issue here. Financially, it is a risk. However, I'm not privy to any conversations 50 Cent may or may not have had with Berto as well as his team and his doctors. Based on the information 50 collected he may have decided that it's a risk he's willing to take. It's not my money, it's not for me to say what financial risks an entreprenuer should take.

As was mentioned above: It's OK that he tested positive as long as he asked for the testing. :patsch
