Dude, maybe he is. But why beleive hime, but not Mayweather.

And if you want, take the **** off the list. What about the rest of the sleazy stuff he did in the ring and outside of the ring?

    Disagree.

    1) It's Floyd's style which lends it's self to longevity (look at Toney).

    2) Floyd might not have had his share of wars in the ring, but he trains like a demon when there really is no need to. No doubt he has accumulated wear + tear on his body through that alone.

I respect your opinion, but Toney is a terrible example. This dude is beyond punch drunk. (Though he was one of my all time favorites ).

How do you figure he doesn't need to train the way he does? That makes no sense. In addition to his fighting style, he also doesn't drink or smoke, which also factor into him preserving his body over the years. If you think overtraining is more wear and tear than being in ring wars in 8.oz gloves with no headgear, than I guess we just agree to disagree.

I don't condemn Mayweather because I wasn't there. Tyson is no angel and he doesn't pretend to be. Tyson said that he didn't r ape Washington but he had done a lot of stuff that was a lot worse so he didn't have a problem serving the time. I personally find Tyson a more sympathetic character than Mayweather but I am fans of both because of their boxing skills not their lives outside of the ropes.

I said Toney as in a defensive genius - he's nigh-on 100 fights into a pro career. That doesn't happen if you have the 'Mexican' style as your style.

Because Floyd is a defensive wizard with a stupidly low punch-output. He does waaay too much training for his style.

Think about it: You throw maybe 15-30 punches over the course of 3 minutes and your main aim is not to get hit. Not to KO the other guy, but you are fighting not to lose, a finish isn't on your mind.

Why are you going to train 3-4 times a day?

Its good to say your one of the best to ever do it but to use the words brainwashed when referring to people knowing who is great is so disrespectful and Mike acknowledges that. It's almost like biting the hand the feeds you. As competitive as Michael Jordan was do you think he will say he was better than a Bill Russell or Dr. J.

Mike Tyson is a big Ali fan he idolizes him. I met Mike many years ago in Dallas Tx a group of us were sat together chatting Mike amazed all of us when he recited every one of Ali's fights in chronological order off the top of his head. The man is a walking boxing encyclopedia in fact. I have never enjoyed listening to a mans wealth of knowledge about boxing. more. Mike was a gent the whole time

Floyd Mayweather needs to stay away from Mike Tyson until this fight has happened. Tyson looked like he was ready to kill someone. I remember the day of the Lewis-Klitschko fight, Tyson pummeled two guys making fun of him and sent one to the hospital.

It would be amazing if the fight was cancelled because Mike Tyson saw Floyd Mayweather in an elevator and beat the hell out of him.
