Pretty sure Jimmy Wilde went to 102 before being beaten. But for guys who retire unbeaten I think Marciano holds the record of most fights for guys who actually tested themselves a little before retiring.

Well you just named the only fighters that he would face in his next two fights possibly three. None the less, which ever one he face, there will be haters with several excuses should he beat any three of them.

If he keeps fighting over-matched, slow, predictable, plodders, then yes.

Even if FLoyd caught up to Marciano, which I doubt, he would still be behind Lopez's 51-0 record.

If you are going to call Marciano on the number of champions he defeated, you better think twice. If you are the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world, there aren't any 'other champions' to defeat. On the other hand, if you are a lower weight class titlist with dozens of fellow titlists surrounding you, you're likely to spend a good part of your career battling them. Another thing is that Mayweather didn't become the undisputed champ yet, nor he has faced his career foe.

SMH. Not a legit heavy? Tell that to the guys who were 210-230 pounds, which was probably comparable to guys 240-260 today.

The last few guys he fought, would give anyone of the upcoming guys a run for there money. It just sounds like more excuses to me.

Floyd will be behind a few fighters with a 50-0 record, but have they accomplished as much as he had during there career, should be the defining factor.

Shiny records are meaningless when the opposition is questionable. There's plenty of boxers with losses on their ledger that still rank higher than Floyd.

What's your point? If you're saying Rocky was a natural heavyweight size wise then GTFOH.

The difference is Marciano holds the highest ko percentage ever, and fought everyone and their mothers.

While Duckweather avoided all the threats, lost to Campillo and Maidana 1, and didn't stop anyone since.. 7 years.
