2 years ago, if people mention Pac vs Floyd. It would be even more rediculous than Pac vs DLH. Despite the turn of events, Floyd is still clearly the naturally bigger guy and accepted as having the better talent and gifts. He has almost every advantage over Pac. So if he were to come out of retirement to fight Pac, he will be in a lose lose situation. If he edges against Pac by a slim margin, it will be seen as more of a victory for Pac. Only way Floyd can truly win this fight is if he anniliated Pac but it won't be easy, if Sat's version of Pac shows up. And the worst case if he loses to Pac, just imagine how bad it would ruin his legacy.

Would you take a chance to lose all you did in your whole career to one fight? Too much risk for Floyd. If he is wise, he will duck this match and let people continue to live off of his unbeatable mystic.

both fighters are VERY exciting to watch and what boxing fan wouldnt want to see this?

If anyone can beat Floyd it is Manny but i dont think anyone can beat him.

He also loses if he doesn't come out and fight. Might as well fight and get the money. But he won't...

His only hope is that RH beats Pac.

Totally agree. Floyd would definitely be hoping for a Hatton win. And if Manny pulls off another miracle win, Floyd essentially is push into the corner and has no option but to fight Pac.

Yes, Floyd and Pac would be competitive. Competitive because it would be Pac bringing the fight to him.

He's a coward if he doesn't come out of retirement and give Manny a shot. Manny made Mayweather look bad last night. The Oscar win was supposed to be Floyd's crowning achievement but Manny made that feat look easy last night. Manny defeated Oscar much more decisively than Floyd did. Please don't feed me that BS that the Oscar from the Floyd fight was superior to last night's Oscar, they were the same fighter.

Floyd is a coward anyway, he doesn't want to fight, he just wants money and attention.

You're totally right about this sounding ridiculous and one-sided in favor of Mayweather 2 years ago or even 1 year ago, right now we know this won't be easy AT ALL and is a 50/50 fight in my opinion so far. Would love to see Mayweather come back and take it, that would be an insane megafight for next year.

Pac damaged Mayweathers win over De La Hoya for sure.

He needs to fight Manny big time!

Floyd is in perfect position here. Retired!!! Even if he comes back and Pacquiao beats him(Worst case scenario) they can always say he got beat because of the time away from boxing. And he will make at least ten millions in the process. De la hoya would probably be the event producer and get a few millions too. Now, WHATS THE PROBLEM???

People tend to overrate PBF. If He he fought in another era he would have already more than his couple of losses.

Also, the fact that he retired so only, really hurts his legacy. The O in his record does not mean anything when it comes down to legacy.
