Floyd's flaws have been exploited numerous times but he's so good at adapting and utilizing his superior speed and movement to take that away from his opponents.

Floyd is older now and his style is one that reflects a less mobile Mayweather. He's still got some wheels but they aren't like they use to be and to be honest.....I like this Floyd better.

Floyd now is boxing more than ever....he's also fighting more than ever. Floyd in his physical prime would use his athletic ability and superior speed to avoid having to exchange and would pot shot all night long.....he would win by out pointing his opposition so easy that it was boring.

Now Floyd is older and maybe a half step slower.....he's standing his ground more and showing his defensive skills constantly in close quarters. That requires more skill than what he use to do before where he let his legs get him out of range and out of danger but people would always rag on him that he was "running" or on his "bike".

No one can say that now....Floyd is a masterful boxer and is so much more appreciated at this stage of his career than ever....That's just my opinion. All the questions about his heart and warrior mentality should be answered emphatically with his performance against Miadana and Miguel.

He should fight Manny though....both are older...a little slower and still winning at the sports highest levels. It's not as significant now....but a Floyd vs PAC fight is still the most important fight in boxing.

Cotto is a good fighter who employed a similar gameplan, and he lost. Ditto for Castillo, Jesus Chavez, and Hatton. And Maidana was a top 10 fighter and a world champion.
