Let me put it to you this way, Mayweather-Maidana is the biggest mismatch in PPV history.

hes 37 btw. he doesnt use his legs much as he used too. maidanas lack of foot speed shouldnt cause him any problems

plus floyds defense is too good. hes going to make maidana look foolish in there

Matthyssee was -1700 vs. Molina. Figuerroa was -800. I don't expect the fight to be as close as either one of those fights, but odds in boxing are off base moreso than other sports.

Mayweather vs. Gatti was the biggest mismatch in PPV history in terms of the gap in talent. De La Hoya/Mayorga, and Lewis vs. Tyson are up their as well. Pacquiao vs. Jorge Solis was on PPV as well I believe.

Yeah and come May when Floyd wins 12-0 people will say he didn't loose a step, dude your just looking to latch onto something that might give Maidana a chance, face facts it's a mismatch and Floyd will win very easily, Maidana wouldn't beat a 50 year old Mayweather

Hey, the wheels have gotta come off sometime........... he shouldn't even be wasting his post-prime on a guy like Maidana though.

When odds hit the 10-1 point, I would say 90% of the time or more it is the mismatch it is calculated to be.

This. I would rather see him fight Khan than Maidana. And I like both of them, but Maidana? Come on!

Yeah, in a couple years he may not be physically ABLE to beat whoever else is on top at 147 or 154 be it Thurman, Porter, or whoever. You never know when a fighter is gonna get old overnight. Bernard Hopkins doing what he does now is the exception to the exception to the rule.
