It would be a great fight.......regardless. Styles make fights and I think Floyd has the style and speed to take Manny to the limit. Would he knock him out?........don't think so. It would go to the cards.......

Floyd is more skilled , but Manny hits a thousand times harder , and is possibly quicker. Floyd would be the betting under dog 2 to 1.

Floyd definitely has more skills. I think Marquez and Morales demonstrated quite clearly that if you don't go towards Manny like all the bigger guys he has fought have done and take a step back when he begins to punch you make him over-extend and go off balance and you can come straight back with a jab and then any number of power shots. Mayweather knows this and would just use his footwork, circling and the like to make manny over extend and pay. I doubt he'll stand in the pocket with Manny because he is a southpaw and throws from too many angles - if you do that he hits you a lot. No, Floyd will just move out of range and counter and throw hard jabs and lead rights from the outside. The thing that will be interesting is if Manny can cut the ring on Floyd - Manny's footwork isn't bad at all. If he can close distance he can inflict damage. But I think there's a real chance Manny would be outboxed as Floyd just controls range and distance.

I beleive the last South Paw Floyd fought was Zab Judah... Zab gave Floyd a tough fight the first 6 rounds. Manny is no Zab Judah... he's not a front runner, he's mentally tougher and I believe he hits harder and more accurate than Judah and he throws a lot more punches. Manny will take plenty of punishment if he fights Floyd... but he'll land eventually and I don't think Mayweather can handle the kind'a punishment Pacquia dishes out. Corley had Floyd on ***** street, I can only imagine what happens when he gets caught by Manny. I think if they do ever fight....which will never happen because Mayweather's scared... Floyd will be clearly winning the fight until he gets KTFO. Thats just how I see it.

I agree in most points, but I think when Floyd gets knocked out he will be behind by a few rounds and we see the knockout coming.

Yeah Zab Judah and Floyd use to spar together back in the day and Zab knew Floyd very well. "It's hard to fight a sparring partner bc they know everything about you." ROY JONES

Very possible. But I think Manny is easier to counter than Judah is, all you really need to do is step back and make him over extend with his left hand. It depends how Mayweather uses his footwork as has already been mentioned and Manny's ability to cut the ring off and make Floyd cover up. I think if does that, what with Manny's power, combinations and awkward angles Floyd could well end up seeing stars yes.

You must realize that Floyd will present angles to Manny as well. Floyd is taller and has a 5 inch reach advantage but here is one difference in Floyd and all the other bigger guys Manny has fought. Floyd will actually use his Reach advantage.

Manny ain't Mike Tyson. If his punching power was that amazing then why couldn't he finish overmatched opponents like Cotto, Clottey, and Margarito.

    Quicker? I don't think so.

Floyd and underdog just don't go together. I don't think there was a single time in Floyd's career that he wasn't the betting favorite.
