actually, that second scenario is implausible. Pac accepted drug tests, just not the specific ones that Floyd asked for. If Pac would have failed Floyd's drug tests, he would also have failed the ones Pac himself proposed as a compromise.

"Noone in Pac's position (#1 p4p fighter and fighter of the decade) would allow himself to be strong armed by someone lesser ranked. Instead, Pac proposed a fair middle ground that Floyd rejected because his objective was not to have Pac take the tests, but rather make it look like Pac was cheating."

    Sorry, this is plain ridiculous.

Pacquiao's the definite junior partner in any deal. He was very lucky to even be offered 50%

Pacquiao accepted drug tests, as long as he knew when they were.

Sorry to break this to you but drug tests are very very easy to beat when you know the dates of the tests. Ask Shane Mosely.

Victor Conte was asked why an athlete would want 24 days of no guaranteed testing, and he said quite clearly that they could use it to do a pre fight EPO programme, to boos their energy.

What world do you live in?

Athletes can clear themselves of drugs in less than 12 hours these days.

Say he's doing a 8 day EPO programme, before the fight to boost his power and energy. If he knows 24 days before when the test is going to be, how's he possibly going to fail.

Juicers hate random tests as they just can't do anything

Sorry, it's just the way it is.

The most likely scenario of why Pacquiao pulled out of the fight over drug testing, is that his training programme probably involves stuff that would make him fail.

Mayweather Sr was already accusing Pac of taking steroids well before the Pac-Maywaether negotiations.

Floyd offered a 14 day concession and said Pac should accept it because he had taken blood tests 14 days before the Hatton fight. It turned out Pac had taken the blood tests 24 days, not 14, before the Hatton fight. So keeping in line with the same logic, Pac said they would take the blood tests for doping 24 days before the Floyd fight.

EPO is detectable in urine, Pac agreed to random urine testing all the way through training camp up until the day of the fight.

That's just a flat out lie. I assume a myth that's been spread on the pacland boards.

Pacquiao took the blood test for Hatton 11 days before the fight.

It's not!? Can you actually research stuff, rather than just spreading Pacland rumours.

The only way to catch EPO is by blood AND urine. Both. Not one or the other

Pacquiao agreed to random urine testing, as designer drugs are created to be invisible in those tests.

Most modern drugs can only be spotted by blood and urine tests

Any athlete that only wants to do urine testing, should just write on their forehead

    "I'm on designer drugs"

So WTF does any of this have to do with his athletic ability? Oh and cry me a ****ing river about Pac getting his feelings hurt, I mean really, we are talking about grown men, prize fighters for God's sake. That said, I appreciate you acknowleding the fact that Pac could have accepted testing, but made a conscious decision not to for no good reason, which essentially equates to ducking. Some have tried to make this point for months, it's nice to see at least someone gets it.

As I said, that's the problem with this argument.

Pacland has just created their own mythical version of events.

As in "urine testing spots EPO".
