If he paid for it and then twittered it, it is nothing but a fake altruism.

If he twittered that he paid and actually did nothing of sorts, then it is lower in class than the first statement.

So, to sum up, in any scenario, gayweather is nothing but a cheap douche bag. And it would look ridiculous if you actually try to defend it.

1. Even if Joe were penniless somehow, I think this is far from the case for his daughter and son. And they would not need nor want to accept money from FLoyd if they didn't absolutely need to. It would be frankly classless of the family to accept payment from someone who has publicly announced it and thus has his own foul motivation.

2. Announcing this publicly is pretty low

3. Announcing it publicly when it isn't true is extremely low. But it is not beneath Floyd's sense of morality, because I don't see any sense of morality from him, based on so many of his actions in and out of the ring.

4. Sooner or later, the family will probably speak to the issue, and we will know for sure. I for one hope they did not accept Floyd's money. Unlike Fkoyd, from what I know, Joe was a moral man in and out of the ring.
