Three things will play in Floyd Mayweathers hand:

    1. He took out the second best fighter of his era, Manny Pacquiao. People won't say Pacquiao was shot, they'll say he was younger than Floyd who was 38.

    2. He's undefeated, which makes it easier to hype him. As his limits never got exposed, who can say he had any :hey

    3. He's a technician, which gives an aura of greatness that athletic wonders can't aspire to.

If you wan't to point at a fighter who is a Boxer with capitalized B, who makes more sense than ... Floyd?

He wasn't called Pretty boy for nothing. Compare him with most ATGs, how many clean shots has he taken his entire career compared to them all ?

He's simply one of a kind that will be much more recognized as precisely that, once he definitively retires from boxing and the years start going by.

To me, what ultimately will do it when it's all said and done, years down the road, it's the ease with which he has made practically all of his opponents, top notch or not, look so ordinary once they stepped in the ring with him.

Credit must be given where it's due.
