From Ortiz himself. Google it, I have read an interview of him. He told that a if back then a featherweight Pacquiao was too strong for him, how about now that Pac is much better and stronger, it will be too much for him he told. That interview by Ortiz supported the things below.

My friend saw the sparring session with Victor Ortiz and Pacquiao he said Pacman was taunting ortiz and he rocked Ortiz bad and then stopped Ortiz took a knee. Pacman was only 130 pounder then.

He also saw the sparring sessions with Lazcano and pacquiao and he claims that after witnessing what lazcano did to hatton he thinks Pacman might murder hatton, cause he claims Pacquiao was able to hit lazcano at ease and rock him and pac let lazcano wail on his body for a few seconds he said pacmans body is very strong.

I still think Hatton if he grapples pacman can wear the pacman down and then catch him in the later rounds.

I really never seen pacman fight a grappler before or someone who can tie up like hatton can.

Pac's sparring mate are serious on knocking him out, cause of cash reward by Roach on any sparring mate that can KO Pacquiao.

 

The point is Ortiz is a low level opponent, and Floyd fans should not be too proud in this fight.

 

It is a regular thing, the reward is US$1,000.
