So Floyd training for a fight on May 2nd means he's scared??? This is why Pa c t ards are so easy to dislike, as a Floyd fan I can care less what Manny and Roach are doing. Why are you guys so concerned about Floyd?

So you are one to go into battle without armor? If so then i guess its better to be insecure than foolish.

It just shows that Floyd was always scared of Pacquiao

that's why he effectively ducked him for years, the PED accusations, the lowball offers, the lies, the dumbassed comments, they all were to prevent this moment

the moment he has to face The Man That He Fears

now he's training harder and more desperately than ever, and this is a past prime, post KTFO6 Pacquiao!

imagine if Floyd had been forced to face a Prime Pacquiao back then

i dont know if his heart could have taken it

Yes Ariza's probably giving Floyd vitamin-S, and he probably gave Manny Vitamin-S, but think about it; Floyd Mayweather has been undefeated for 19 years, working with two washed-up, 1980's era ex-boxers. roadwork, orange juice, training, sparring. Now he's incorporating 21st century, Russian-style conditioning from an expert into his training; plyometrics, stretching, explosion traning...and Manny's working with a 1980's era ex-boxer...

    Ruh-Oh.

You convinced me. The fact that he is training at all for this is proof positive for me that Floyd is absolutely frightened. I'm sorry I believed otherwise. He should've come into this fight without any preparation at all. That would show Pacquaio, Arum and Roach that he means business.

And what exactly is this armor, swimming and axe swinging? I didn't realize these were extreme training methods. I could of swore athletes have used swimming and axe swings/hitting tires for years....I would think something like Marquez drinking p iss and sleeping in hyperbolic chambers would be what one would call extreme. But somehow Floyd swimming in his swimming pool is putting on additional armor....ok, see you May 3rd.

I don't think Floyd is necessarily scared (I didn't say he isn't, he could very well be but I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt) but I do think he's concerned. Fight after fight Floyd always says he does his own thing in training, he doesn't watch tapes and he waits until he steps in the ring and figures his opponent out. The reason people are making a big deal out of him swimming is because, just like chopping wood, it's not characteristic of Floyd. It doesn't mean he's scared, it just goes to show that he has more respect for Manny than he did his other opponents otherwise he wouldn't find it necessary to do more than he normally does. If anything, it should be a wake up call to all the Fl0mos who think it's gonna be an easy fight, if Floyd doesn't think it's gonna be easy they shouldn't either.
