He were to make a huge splash and fight GGG at 154 and beat him. He would absolutely get my vote as i believe GGG is going to someday be a HOF fighter once his career is over.

He already holds wins against around 10 hall of fame fighters. Will one more HOF fighter really catapult him into the conversation with Greb, Armstrong, Langford and Robinson?

I will say though that GGG is an animal, I see no reason for FLoyd to fight him at this stage of his career. However, if he did fight and beat him, I'd rate that as a better win than Duran beating Barkley and Moore combined.

Thats exactly my point. Imo its the only thing missing from Floyds resume. Beating a prime fighter while being an underdog. Thats one of the reasons floyd doesnt get the credit he craves. Hes hasnt been the underdog since Corrales. To see him be an underdog and come out on top especially at the tail end of his career would push im to legendary status.

Btw i do no see this fight happening but rumor has it Floyd said he had interest in it. But thats just heresay.

Floyd should retire. Five years of trying to get him to make that fight and he puts on a dud. The guys style is terrible for the sport on a mainstream level. If he does continue the only logical choice is triple G. The young lion. But I think half the audience is so put off by last night it wouldn't sell. If he has to finish out his contract, fight Khan get it over with and enjoy your retirement.

Yeah make it in Moscow with judges who never scored a Floyd fight. He would agree to sterilization before agreeing to that.

Even a fight with khan i believe is good can he knock khan out if he catches him yes but would he be able to catch him clean that's to be waited for. I say that because Floyd landed 149 shots on PAC who doesn't use the ring and his range better than khan

Floyd should not be considered in the ATG category, let alone TBE. To suggest he is TBE is a joke. And he has to go some to enter the ATG category.

As a Mayweather fan the only way he can truly be argued as indisputably one of "TBE" he has to win a MW Title, whether it be Cotto/Canelo winner or GGG. Although between the three GGG would be fought at 154 while the Cotto/Canelo winner would be above 154 for the Real MW Crown, which would make it a better win.

for that to happen he'd have to go for 50, but think about it as big a ego maniac as Mayweather you have to know whoever's next should be good.

Mayweather would outbox GGG at 154 too - and afterwards people would simply say he fought a drained GGG.

Winning the lineal MW title from Cotto is far more of a legacy builder than GGG at 154.

He's an all-time great according to all-time greats such George Foreman, Roy Jones Jr, James Toney, Lennox Lewis and so many other great fighters.
