Smh... no one who has actually studied believes this.

According to Arum, Floyd would have accepted the Margarito fight for 8 million, but also wanted 10 million guaranteed for Cotto/Hatton. Arum balked, countering with only 7 million for those fights. He was also laughed at for asking for 20 million guranteed for DLH. Floyd bet on himself and made exponentially more money for each of those fights. Just google it if you can't believe me, bro.

Margarito would have been up next if he'd kept winning, but no telling what he'd have loaded his gloves with for Floyd.

I'm glad he lost and missed out on the payday.

Hey man there's always 3 sides to the truth, his side, their side, then the truth!

If Margarito was such an easy win for Floyd, he would have taken the easy money. There’s nothing more satisfying than easy money to money hungry people. Floyd never had his fans confidence when it came to Margarito though. He was terrified.

I never said Margarito would be easy. It would've been a one-sided points win for Floyd, but he'd have never been comfortable at any moment. 8 million was really chump change for that sort of trouble, and Arum further insulted Floyd by suggesting an actual paycut for Cotto/Hatton.

As it is, he moved up to 154 and fought DLH -a better fighter than Margarito at a less advantageous weight- but for much more money. It was a no-brainer.

He would've caught Margarito on the back end for maybe 40-50 million, but Antonio faded from the scene.

    The end.

Floyd said it would be easy. He didnt like money as much as he claims. End of story.

Oh, okay. You're just here to be annoying. Got it.

Yes, Floyd would whup him good. But it would have been a physical, rugged affair and Floyd would have had to exert himself.

He made the same 8 million for an easier fight with Baldomir, then made exponentially more for DLH, who Arum didn't even want Floyd to share a ring with, let alone get paid to do it.

Floyd loved money so much that he gambled on himself and made more of it. Unfortunately, he couldn't make bank on Margarito, whose cheating/losing cost Floyd a potential 40-50 million dollar payday.

Let’s deal with facts only. Floyd declined to make what he called “easy money” against a d level fighter, as he calls them. So what you think would have happened means jiggedy jack. Floyd simply didn’t have the confidence you do.

Again, he made the same money against Baldomir, then fought the Golden Goose for exponentially more. The Arum path was a lower money alternative.

    Can you count?

Of course. Margarito was the longest reigning belt holder at 147 when Floyd entered the division. Floyd wasn’t as confident as you in beating Tony. These are facts guy. Nothing you say will ever put a W in Floyd’s resume vs Margarito. He ducked him.

OK, bro. I see you don't want to accept reality and can't be reasoned with. This is my last response to you.

No one is trying to put a win in Floyd's column over Margarito because he doesn't need it. No one cared about the WBO belt 15-20 years ago; it was considered a minor title. Antonio had a real path to Floyd after winning the IBF and WBA titles, but got caught loading his gloves vs. Shane and got blasted out.

    That's the record.

Everything else about Floyd being scared is conjecture. Nothing you say can give Margarito a victory over Floyd.

Because he was found to be cheating, I am glad the fight never came off. I would've loved to see Floyd get his hands on post-plaster Margarito, but he kept losing for some reason...

Reality, Floyd ducked Margarito. I don’t know why that bothers you, it’s well known.
