I never said floyd didnt decline. Just less. And its because pacquiao is good enough that he can beat those caliber of fighters but not guys like floyd and other ATG's. It's not hard to understand. In their prime, the fight would likely be very close and floyd would need to give a rematch or even trilogy to beat him decisively (probably trilogy since prime pac better than castillo and maidana). You guys keep bringing up marquez but it took him 4 tries to eventually get a decisive win while on roids! What im saying is more rational those dudes screeching that prime mayweather would have knocked him out or beat him 12-0

You realize Pacquiao made an excuse every time he lost? Okay lets say you think he lost against Castillo. Pac lost against Morales, Marquez, Bradley, Ugas, etc. does that mean he can’t hang in there with the greats? As for remarches I wasnt referring to Pacquiao. Unlike other fanboys I don’t have to hate Pac to like Floyd. I actually got into boxing a lot mode after watching Pacquiao

The base is same for both. They sucker in opponents into range and get their offense off. Pbf was also a combination puncher when presented the opportunity. Money Mayweather isn't the best of Floyd.

Pacquiao doesn't have the same base as maidana. Pacman fights way better than maidana but it won't work as well against Floyd as Maidana's style did.

"He only did well in the 4th fight" what?!! JMM has claim to actually winning the series if the cards went his away. All of them were razor close, and this was prime Pacquiao as you say.

It's not based on a single fight. His competition has been poor but he has the skills. His reach is longer than Floyd's. He is stronger in the clinch. Pretty fast at these weights, and he can fight southpaw which always gave Floyd trouble. None of this will win him against Mayweather necessarily, but all of this combined with his huge size for the weight classes he fought in just might. At 147, Floyd might be outweighed by 10 pounds on fight night.

That's not how this works. Floyd is better at fighting at all ranges, has better defense, footwork, jab, counterpunching, chin, can make adjustments on the fly (Crawford does this round by round not between rounds). Floyd at 147 is still the faster fighter and his IQ is leveps above. I don't see Floyd losing early rounds to the likes of Kava, Ava, Jose....etc. Again, that Spence victory (which has a huge asterisk) means nothing. Hell, I don't even know if Crawford would beat cotto at 140 and 147

Pac couldn't beat jmm clearly in 4 fights yet you favor him to beat pbf at 140 who's better than jmm??? Log off. You don't make sense.

You are underrating Crawford big time. Floyd is more skilled and a shade smarter, I agree, but size matters. Crawford isn't young Canelo. He always plays to his strengths. He is definitely beating Cotto at any weight.

How? When pac fought to 2021 and pbf retired in 2016 and pbf is older than pac. You sound dumb af.

Pbf didnt fight like that against castillo. thats the only pbf fight i saw. Also by that i mean he only lost the 4th fight decisively. other 3 were close. Why wont it work as well against floyd? pacquiao has faster hands, changes angles more, etc
