Yes, all those people hyping up the GGG fight, they don't seem to be nearly as excited for the Kovalev fight, size matters.

 

Kovalev is a better boxer than ward. There is nothing ward has a level playing field with. Unless he drastically improves as a lhw, this fight doesn't interest me.

I think people are thinking back on ward in much greater light than what I remember. Maybe he's much better than I've seen but, im fairly sure I've seen all his televised fights.

In fact, Senior said that if he were training Ward he'd keep him at SMW because that's his best weight. He thinks that K2 and Golovkin ducked Ward and that the networks prefer Ward to jump to LHW to fight Kovalev because they don't want Ward to ruin Golovkin.

I don't recall Ward or Hunter saying that Ward is sparring with and KO'ing HWs, or that Ward will fight and defeat anyone from 154 to 168. I can't recall even once hearing them make that claim, so where did I hear this?

Pretty obvious that Ward is as unimpressed with Vlad as I have always been, but the size is and has always been Vlad's #1 advantage.
Perhaps what he actually meant was he'd beat him on the P4P ratings, which is true.
