Arum is the reason this fight will not happen, First Arum will not let Cotto fight mayweather with out some type of option on Mayweather, either a rematch or a couple fights in the future.

The reason is because there is a huge chance that mayweather beats Cotto and Arum number one kid now is not worth **** all to him and Mayweather go into the sunset with a truck load of money and no option with Mayweather in future fights.

Some of you people have to look past Mayweather mouth and attitude and look at the green and the power players in makeing the fight. Arum with out dought has the most to lose with this fight.

Not exactly in that manner. Back then I was trying to say Trinidad wouldn't have done that as easliy as he said. My point was that it would have been a good fight. Never disputed he probably would have, just not as easy as he said.
